Took Jeep in with 1/4” cupping on LF tire and handbrake not working. Dealership charged $200 to diagnose that tires needed rotating and shoes needed replacing on handbrake. We noticed the rear wheel had never been pulled so checked the handbrake shoes and they were in new condition. Adjusted the brake and it was fine. Looked at the LF shock and there was no resistance in the travel of the shock. Pulled the shock and it was bad. Replaced front shocks and Jeep drives fine now. Also someone hit the rear bumper and scraped off the paint while it was in their parking lot. I was sent a text asking me to contact Dillon the service manager if I had any complaints. I did this twice and never got a response. Not happy that I paid $200 for a wrong diagnosis and damage to my jeep. More

He will tell you they aren't able to buy out other companies leases (like every other dealer) when they absolutely can, just don't want to. Sat in line for an hour at the bank due to the app being down to get him documents, he said he sent them, he never did. Total waste of my time and nothing but problems. Do not waste your time here. This place is a complete rip off. Went to have diagnostic on 2016 Ram 1500 and have a tick sound checked. They found it was a lifter and said I needed a new engine. Price was 7500 for the engine and 5000 for labor = 12500 dollars to have a remanned engine put in. The dealership said they would give me 200 dollars to buy it or 200 dollars in a trade in on a garage kept vehicle. No rust anywhere. I will not be back. I called my mechanic and he said would put in the engine for 2500 and we could get a remanned engine for 4500. Do not recommend this dealership. After the change in ownership, this place it is not the place to buy anything. Not to mention when I picked up the truck, my bug guard was broken and the fire blanket on my hood was ripped. After research a "used" hood for this truck goes for 200 dollars. These people think we are stupid as consumers. More

They are doing unnecessary things just to get money . i would not recommend them to anyone again i am a 15 year lee summit dodge customer that will never let mccarthy do anything except change oil that i have prepaid for. Went in to lease a vehicle. I've always had the taxes and licence paid on a lease. These crafty xxxxxxxx wrote the contract up to where the bill was on me. ZERO STARS is appropriate, read their SALES REVIEWS! ! THEY DO NOT CARE!! McCarthy Auto sold my Husband a 2021 Dodge Hellcat VIN 2C3CDXL98MH669188 online. The very NEXT day he decided against the purc ! THEY DO NOT CARE!! McCarthy Auto sold my Husband a 2021 Dodge Hellcat VIN 2C3CDXL98MH669188 online. The very NEXT day he decided against the purchase due to noises, rattles and overall quality of the car wasn’t a $70K car, but told it could NOT be returned. At 31 days, they agreed to repurchase the vehicle for $7K less than was paid 30 days prior! Additionally, we had to pay sales tax on a title not signed! To gloat the Gen Sales Mgr, Tyler Gray said, “We gave you the money to pay the sales tax, so it wasn’t money out of my pocket!” It cost us plenty! We lost all equity from our 2019 Camaro with 21K miles we owned since NEW! Sad part our trade in was nicer than their 2021 used car with 12K miles! They took our refund of $6K + in warranties, maintenance, and GAP insurance in the repurchase. We felt we had to sell them the car, verses somewhere else because of the refunds on the maintenance & insurances policies, we felt stuck. Then, we notified them $700 less was paid on the trade toward the loan balance pay off than was written in the agreement, first they ignored us. When I brought it to the General Mgr Tyler’s attention it was ignored. My husband called and was told, “that was figured into the repurchase amount” how, when it wasn’t pointed out until AFTER the agreement was reached! They paid what we owed to the lienholder, not what was stated on the trade paperwork! They pocketed $700 for themselves instead of the lienholder refunding it to us! We returned the car on the 32nd day, paid the sales tax and had to give them an $2,500 additional in a Cashier’s check. In total we lost $20K in equity, dealer fees, maintenance and GAP contract cancellations, sales tax ($7K because we didn’t buy anything else) and greed of the dealer! In the end, this was the WORST EXPERIENCE CUSTOMER SERVICE we’ve ever had! There is ZERO empathy. They are in the business to GET YOUR money!! Then it's, “So what, too bad!” and literally laughed! I hope they can sleep at night! This is the worse dealership experience we have EVER encountered! I would NOT recommend doing business with this dealership! If you do Caveat Emptor, BUYER BEWARE !! More
