The service department refuses to honor any sort of warranty and tried to charge me almost $1,000 battery harness repair and vehicle diagnostic check as I haven't had working air conditioning in the middle of a summer heat wave. Paid $220 for them to tell me what needed fixed.........it's very disappointing to see that these vehicle service employee as well as "highly recommended" car dealerships are still taking advantage of people and their money. Don't go to this dealership, especially not to service your car. They will try to sell you on services and parts your car doesn't need. They attempted to charge me hundreds for an OEM car battery to run a your car. They will try to sell you on services and parts your car doesn't need. They attempted to charge me hundreds for an OEM car battery to run a test that Subaru of America confirmed they should do on my current battery as is. Stereotypical dealership trying to scam people they think they can make money off of, but worse that they tried to violate a warranty from Subaru of America in the process. To top it off their customer service was very poor and every employee there seemed miserable and very rude. More

They up-sold him on things that he "needed" done - the car only has 30,000 miles on it and we bought it there just a few months ago.... and walked out with a bill of nearly $700. He agreed to the 'repairs / maintenance' but only after feeling pressured to do so. I am very disappointed that they would use these tactics on kids in a college town away from their homes. It was a costly life lesson for my son. More
Follow-up to post of Dec 5. McCarthy replied to that post that they could find no record of my claim. Shocking! Emailed proof of insurance estimate/claim to McCarthy. NOT hopeful of a positive re post that they could find no record of my claim. Shocking! Emailed proof of insurance estimate/claim to McCarthy. NOT hopeful of a positive response, as their story keeps changing, now say they found my records but insurance did not cover headlight (it did). Meanwhile they told insurance that the headlight they put in did not work..except they did not put in a headlight - they showed me a headlight in August & said it was wrong one, would have to re-order. Their story changes daily. This has been going on since early June, 2019 More

I went there at 8:15 am to drop my car all the way from Olathe but no one was there to assist me. I had to walk around to find someone at the service department and found out that I did not have an appointment or no loaner was available. I rescheduled and went home. I called few days before the new appointment date to confirm to make sure I had an appointment but found out that they dd not AGAIN. Do not waist your time to shop or getting any service there.. Not organized or no communications at all. More

From the get go I've always relied on the Briggs service department for general maintenance and all the "unexpecteds", of which I seem to be the recipient of on a frequent basis. I happen to be a nail and screw magnet on the dirt road we live on, and the crew can probably spot my car 3 blocks from the dealership, with "here she comes again" and place their bets on what's in her tire today! Well today, was an unexpected minor crash, as I was rear ended and left with part of my bumper apart from the rest of the vehicle and a part of it in contact with my rear tire. I didn't even call ahead, but instead drove straight to Briggs and pulled into the service department bay. I no sooner got out of the car and my fellas, Brian and Chad, appeared. They took over with securing the bumper and removing the piece in contact my rear tire. This resembled arriving to an emergency room with a broken bone, as I was received without any hesitation and the assurance they could fix me up and put me safely back on the road without worry. These guys are top notch and trustworthy, and are a huge part of my satisfaction with purchasing this vehicle at Briggs. Brian and Chad are the reason I don't even consider going anywhere else. More
