Service department needs to be retrained. First it was a chip, problem not fixed, than they replaced the fuel pump, problem partially fixed, but then they wanted to do another fix. Also, this rating system only lets you pick sales people and I only dealt with Service people. The best help I got was from the parts department because their manager made the service department call me back. More

Lousy Service Department I was happy with the sales staff but if not for the fact that I purchased a special service contract I would not use them for service on my new VW. After purchase the I owe you items was never contacted to have them taken care of. Finally my wife called to schedule and felt that they did not perform the service in good faith. Like said if I had know before I purchase the special extended service contract would have not bought it with McGrath, In addition what makes this worse is that they sent me a survey and I completed and tried to voice my disappointments and concerns but the survey was bounced back and not deliverable. So they ask for honest feedback but if you don't say how wonderful they are it gets bounced out into the void of internet. Am sure its so that Volkswagen does not find out how lousy they are at service and how they treat customers. More

Liars My 2016 GTI recently blew a turbo because of the modifications that were preformed to it before I purchased the vehicle. The turbo was not covered under warranty, this does not bother me because I did not expect it to be once I learned the vehicle was modified. What does bother me, however, was the way McGrath lied to me about the reasoning behind a leaky water pump and a failing thermostat. I don't doubt that the water pump is leaking and the thermostat is going bad, but the reasoning they tried to give me was that because the turbo was getting too hot and that is what caused the water pump to leak. I then immediately called 2 other independent VW shops in the area and both of the shops said that the reasoning they gave me was a load of crap. They were trying to make me pay for a $1200 dollar service that should be covered under the manufactures warranty. I'll just continue to do my service at other VW shops and warranty work at Carousel Motors. Avoid this service shop. More

Completely satisfied I'm pleased that right away I was able to get an appointment the next day for my service call.
