After Sales Nightmare I am a disabled veteran, and for my birthday, my wife and I purchased a very nice, new vehicle from Kaveh at McLoughlin Chevrolet on 9/22/18. Kaveh wa I am a disabled veteran, and for my birthday, my wife and I purchased a very nice, new vehicle from Kaveh at McLoughlin Chevrolet on 9/22/18. Kaveh was professional, kind, and provided us one of the best sales experiences that we ever had. This is why I give 2 stars. We had pre-approved financing through our credit union to purchase the vehicle which made the sale very easy. The dealer called and confirmed this with our credit union and sold us the vehicle. We were to go to our credit union the following Monday, as it was a Saturday, and complete the financing and have payment processed and issued to the dealer. We went to our credit union first thing Monday morning and completed the financing and paperwork and our credit union began processing the loan and issuing payment. Four days later, on my birthday, I get a voicemail from McLoughlin Chevrolet's finance department asking why they have not received payment yet and that if I do not call them back in 1 hour that they are going to start processing a high-rate loan for the car and stick us with that. Brian the finance person told me that his "boss" wants the money now or he is to start processing alternate loans. I immediately called back on two different occassions and Brian the finance manager was not answering his phone. I left 2 voicemails that were never returned telling him that payment has been sent and that we already have payment arranged and if he processes an alternate loan that we do not approve of, that we would take issue with them breaking our agreement. We called our credit union as well and had them call McLoughlin Chevrolet to tell them that the payment had been sent the prior day. We have recordings of every communication and voicemail made in our review. Our credit union also stores communications. I got a call from my credit union on the 5th of October saying that McLoughlin Chevrolet never received the "Certified Mailed" payment that was sent to them and they were being hostile to the tellers they were speaking to demanding that payment be wire transferred immediately and insisting the credit union break policy to do this. I was informed of this when I arrived at the credit union to approve the cancellation of the check that was sent Certified, and to initiate a wire transfer which we did immediately. I have recordings of these calls as well. Now my wife starts checking the mail and we start getting loan application rejections from several banks and credit unions that we never authorized. Loans were requested even though payment for this loan was already arranged, approved, and issued. We take issue with these dishonest actions by McLoughlin Chevrolet and the way their finance staff have treated my family and my credit union. I own a prominent local business and bank daily. My credit union has brought this up several visits now due to the way they were treated over the phone by the finance staff. We feel that McLoughlin Chevrolet made us a great deal on a great car, regretted it, and then made it their purpose to make our lives a stressful nightmare and we worry what else they have tried to do with our credit without our authorization. We will be exploring our options. More

Matt Brooks is great to work with and has a passion to get customers in and out quickly and with a smile. 5 stars to Matt who is not on your service list rating Questionaire Honerable service 5 stars, to all your service writers, especially Don Cohen, they all back each other up, with that same get it done attitude! Directed at the parts dept. only. I wish your parts dept, had that same passion, but don’t hold that against your service dept. Parts seem to be a little slow to greet and not pasionate as to what they do. I don’t know how busy they are with other things but a quick positive response is not one of them. I guess that parts are what they are, not near the hero role of a service person, fixing the problem. I haven’t had the opportunity to see your sales staff in action other than passing by, but they do greet and welcome well! They definitely work at getting to a good start with potential customers. More
