As soon as I drove in there was someone there to greet me. My agent was very nice and explained everything and asked if I had any questions. Was able to get some work done while I waited. I had a very good experience at this dealership. Kirby, the salesperson,was able to answer every question and was very helpful to me in the process of choosing a vehicle. The finance person, Carrie, Kirby, the salesperson,was able to answer every question and was very helpful to me in the process of choosing a vehicle. HORRIBLE, HORRENDOUS ,ABSOLUTE WORST car buying experience I have ever had . DO NOT under any circumstances buy a vehicle from these people. I was initially very pleased buying the car was easy and experience I have ever had . DO NOT under any circumstances buy a vehicle from these people. I was initially very pleased buying the car was easy and they were very good at getting you into the vehicle, the problems started when i started having issues with the vehicle about 3 weeks after purchase . On the first cold day we realized the heat did not work so I contacted the sales person Edgar who was absolutely NO help at all after the “ “ reach out if you need anything “ xx texts and email when I did reach out I was promptly told to contact service or management . No lt even the slightest attempt to help, Rude and unprofessional ! I made an appointment and brought it in , the service advisor initially told me they don’t service this make vehicle when I told him I bought it here a few week ago he changed his reply and said they would have the vehicle looked at . This is where it got bad . Initially they said I’d have to bring it a different dealership as they don’t have techs certified in Audi repair , then they changed their answer to well we will have a tech look and see if they could repair the heat by flushing it out . They must have forgot to tell the tech that I purchased the vehicle there because he came with a long and expensive list of repairs including leaking rear main seal and other engine oil leaks , with needed repairs cost 12,000 $ yes 12,000$ !!! I then tried to get them to assume responsibility for these repairs as they were not disclosed at time of purchase , he again passed the buck to management so i reached out to them and they were resistant and unresponsive, just getting in contact with them became impossible, I made numerous phone calls , emails , all met with not response so I had to go to the center and was told they would see what they could do and would contact me shortly , this never happened, again my calls were never returned , I made attempts to contact sales manager general sales manager and general manager and ALL of the ignored my calls and emails , long story short I had to bring it to another dealership and they inspected the vehicle and verified it did need repairs including leaking seal but the cost was closer to 6000$ half of what Mercedes had claimed the car needed ! AUDI SOUTH AUSTIN was AMAZING !!’ They furnished me a loaner vehicle , attempted warranty claim for repairs however warranty would NOT COVER REPAIRS BECAUSE ISSUES WERE PRESENT BEFORE WARRANTY CONTRACT WAS PURCHASED!! In other words they sold it that way ! After alot of back and forth 20 phone calls and emails the service manager at Mercedes agreed they would repair just the heater core and nothing else . I bought this vehicle in November and it’s still at Mercedes south Austin . I was told my the service manager hey you bought a used car and that’s what you get !! Every single person I had the misfortune of dealing with at this place had a complete lack of integrity!! They give car salesman the bad reputation they have , even after all this and not being able to drive the vehicle they refused to furnish me loaner , I was told their loaners are reserved for Mercedes buyers !! So I had to rent a vehicle !! I would strongly discourage anyone from buying anything from these people , Not only will I never buy another vehicle from GROUP1 auto I will strongly discourage anyone I know from buying a vehicle from them and will make an effort to warn anyone considering buying a vehicle from the to shop elsewhere. Audi south Austin was super helpful and they could teach Mercedes a thing or two about customer service More
