metro ford is a dump and by far the WORST service dept. I've EVER dealt this. This isn't a rant for simple things; NO... These are issues that if you put yourself in my shoes you would think xxx!?!?!? I have went there 4 times and EACH time there was an issue! The latest two issues? (Have a seat and a pastry for this): I bought a FIXD module for my 2016 ford transit connect that I use for my business in which a P420 Code came up which is an issue with the Cat converter. I replaced cat converter where I bought the van from but the other issues to clear the code was to replace a bulb in the right rear parking light (Which I did) and replace the rear camera/wiring harness. I replaced the rear camera but it stopped working. I go sorry xxx metro ford to have the rear camera wiring harness replace and they ask me "WHY? who told you to do that?" I tell them what I typed above. They replaced the harness and the female service rep came and told them that they check EVERYTHING and it still didn't work and it would cost be over 400 bucks to fix it (Now remember this because it gets BETTER!) I tell them no I will fix it myself. I go to my van and start it up and REGGAETON IS BLASTING THRU MY SPEAKERS!!! "WTH is this!" I scream! I turn off my vehicle and go back inside to speak to the service manager and he ran the "Oh I'm so terribly sorry sir I will speak to the mechanic so this won't happen again.."blah blah blah. A week later I get a letter from ford about a recall on the rear camera not working and that they are working on a fix. I didn't have time for that because the engine light keeps coming on with the error. I order a new camera and install it; STILL not working; THEN I thought..Did they check the Fuse? I pulled the fuse and it was burned to xxxx! Replaced the fuse and the camera worked with NO ISSUE. Went back to metro because they contacted me saying I needed an oil change. I go there and ask them to pull up the last mechanics notes to see what steps he took; GUESS WHAT THEY DIDN'T have any and told me I didn't ask for that! They said what I asked for was the wiring harness to be installed! Now does that sound like what I said above? "Hugo" tried to tell me a Line of xx that I wasn't falling for and I told him that the female service rep told me in fact that they DID check and the camera still didn't work. "Hugo" then told me that he would talk to her then come back to me; THAT NEVER HAPPENED. SO I'm waiting on both my oil change And the replacement of my cabin filter; And hour and a half later I get A TEXT MESSAGE SAYING THAT MY OIL CHANGE WAS COMPLETE AND GO TO THE CASH CAGE TO PAY AND PICK UP MY KEYS. The oil change was 79 bucks so it came up to be $81.86 which mean the cabin filter wasn't installed.. In the past if something wasn't available they would call you to the door or the desk and tell you that something wasn't available but could be put "on order". I go to my van and drive home only to look at my receipt to see that the cabin filter was "NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS VEHICLE" AND THAT I DECLINED SERVICE TO REPLACE MY FRONT BRAKES AND ROTORS WHICH FAILED INSPECTION!!" "HUGO" NEVER CAME TO ME AND MENTION ANY OF THIS! I WOULD HAVE PAID TO HAVE THEM REPLACED RIGHT THEN AND THERE! What happen to "caring about the customer!? In the past they would have came to you and told you"Hey your brakes are bad and need to be replaced IMMEDIATELY and it will cost this amount of money; if I said no THEN I'VE JUST DECLINED THE OFFER! I'M OVER THE xx FROM THIS SORRY MEXICAN CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I'VE RECEIVED ( Please?? don't you dare say this is racist because it isn't Go metro ford's service area and see who will help you out! NEVER had a white dude, a black girl or an asian service rep to help me!). THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING WHEN YOU COME TO THEM WITH AN ISSUE. THEY WILL SMILE IN YOUR FACE AND STAB YOU IN THE BACK. They were prompt and fast, easy to deal with, and honestly recommended what I needed and didn't need. I appreciated how clearly they explained and detailed all they had done and my car's current cond honestly recommended what I needed and didn't need. Went to get "the works", the wait time was way less than usual plus I've had a minor accident a few days earlier where someone hit my back bumper. They checked it out for me at no extra cost.
