Have used this dealership for years and have always had a good experience. They get the job done right. good experience. They get the job done right. More
Sales staff was excellent to work with but was not at all impressed with the finance representative. This was my son’s first experience buying a vehicle and I’m glad that I was there to guide him. Extended impressed with the finance representative. This was my son’s first experience buying a vehicle and I’m glad that I was there to guide him. Extended warranty options were presented in such a way that it doesn’t seem optional, were basically told to pick one, we declined. All papers were just placed in front of us to sign, nothing was explained. It’s a good thing that I have been through this several times and knew what we were signing. Had to look through the paperwork when we left to tell my son how much his monthly payment was, we had a ballpark idea when we selected the term but the exact amount wasn’t discussed, just sign here. Definitely would not recommend any first time buyers to go here. More
I would not recommend Morrie's Buffalo Ford solely for treatment that my son and I received by their finance department. Although we had a great experience with Mike S. in sales (he was wonderful!), the f treatment that my son and I received by their finance department. Although we had a great experience with Mike S. in sales (he was wonderful!), the finance guy that we got stuck with, Rob Kirschenman was something else. We had already been approved for our own financing, but Rob pressured us to use their financing by offering to take money off the agreed purchase price. Against my better judgement, I agreed to apply for their financing if he covered the loan costs of the slight increase in the interest rate. He had offered us $100 less than what we would pay over the life of the loan (not a big deal, but if I was already approved and had financing lined up, why would I pay $100 more?). During our chat, he also told my son that "the $100 is apples to apples and a few dollars a month added to your loan but if your mom says so". On our way to the dealership, he emailed me asking what my business name was. I simply thought it was needed for the paperwork, however, when we arrived, he told me that he had just been researching my business website and showed me the webpage that he was looking at on his work computer. Why on earth would the finance guy at Morrie’s be researching my personal life? Things kept going downhill from here. Here are just a few things: *He went on to his spiel explaining all add-ons that the dealership offers after we had said that we would not be adding anything. This is not our first rodeo at a dealership. We know what is available, however he refused to just let us sign to decline the offers. We listened and still chose nothing. During his presentation, he said things like, “Why wouldn’t a mom want this for her son?” and “It would be stupid not to”. He was very good at letting us know how stupid we were the whole time that we were in his office! *There was a $50 charge on the final purchase agreement that was not on the original purchase agreement. When I questioned what it was, it replied that it was for plates today. I asked if we could just order them to which he replied, “Well, we already put them on so…..”. I would have argued this with him, but I just wanted to get the h*ll out of his office.*He tried to sell us Gap insurance by telling us that if there was a loss, we would never have to involve our auto insurance and that the Gap protection would cover the vehicle and loan. Umm, does the finance guy not know how Gap works? He also told us that if we did not buy the Gap and had a total loss, our insurance rates would be affected for LIFE (which is also not true)! *When presented with the purchase agreement, I pulled out my notes to compare fees and the bottom line, he told my son “Oh, look at your mom. Is she looking at her little paper over there to compare notes?” You bet your a** that is exactly what I am doing. It didn’t help that I saw a recent review where Rob had not applied another customer’s $1,000 down payment to his purchase/loan. Why would one NOT confirm numbers or why would a finance guy belittle you for checking his numbers? *When I pulled out my phone, he told my son, “Oh, look at her, here we go!” when he knew I was using Google to discredit the xx that he was spewing. I was right! In no world should Rob be the face of customer service, this guy was horrendously rude throughout our whole encounter. His job should NOT entail belittling you by telling you how stupid you are for not picking the OPTIONAL items that he is trying to make commission on nor researching customer’s personal lives (creepy!). If you decide to purchase from Morrie’s Buffalo Ford, I highly recommend Mark Shuetz in sales. However, if you purchase from Morrie's or need financing, I would stay as far away as possible from Rob Kirshenman and request a different finance specialist if you are sent to him. My son left the dealership asking, “Why would he say all of that stuff and act like that?” I have no idea kid; I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA! More

This is my second time going to Morrie’s Ford in Buffalo and both times have been excellent service! I have worked with Joe McGinty as my service advisor on both visits and he taken care of me above and beyond anything I have ever experienced at any other dealer. I drive a 2005 Explorer that has been in the family since it was new and it has always been well maintained. The nearly 240,000 miles have taken their toll but it keeps running strong and the techs at Morrie’s have helped keep it on the road. I work in the Motorsports industry on the technical side and I am always blown away by how clean and orderly the service department is, how dialed it works, and the service I get. I will always be bringing my beloved Explorer to them for all its service needs and where I will eventually replace it with a new Ford. Thank you to Joe and his team for taking care of me and “Eleanor”. More
