We had been searching for a pre-owned VW Eos on the internet, and found some listed by Muller VW in Highland Park, IL. We live 200 miles away in central Indiana, so deciding to travel that far to look at some cars was not a simple decision. When we arrived at the dealership, our sales consultant was Ian Reuter who was very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable about VW vehicles, including required maintenance and warranty information, and was especially knowledgeable about the Eos. So we agreed on a price for a 2013 Eos Sport with low mileage. It has all the features we were looking for in a hard top convertible, and are very happy with it. The buying experience was very pleasant, and we made the 200 mile journey back home that afternoon. We brought our golden mix puppy Hannah along and she enjoyed herself at this pet-friendly dealership. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, and especially Amy and Ian who made our experience enjoyable. I had read a great review on the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible and had not owned a VW since back in my college years in the 80's. I went to my nearest VW dealership in Crystal Lake and walked away af Convertible and had not owned a VW since back in my college years in the 80's. I went to my nearest VW dealership in Crystal Lake and walked away after dealing with sales as well as their manager and felt jerked around and feeling they did not really care about my business. Then I searched VW of Highland Park, called the receptionist and asked for her to refer me to a great salesman. She suggested Mike Kolar. I was transferred to Mike, told him my story and he encouraged me to travel over to test drive a vehicle. As I arrived in the showroom, Mike was with another customer but looked over and said "Larry?"- and from that first interaction it was a" bromance" towards driving away in the Beetle I wanted. Mike listened to my desires, worked with his sales manager, Allan Noe and he reassured me that they would not let me drive away dissatisfied. Mike is easy-going, no pressure salesman, very kind, funny, knowledgeable about his VW products and did not leave us lurking with indecisions. Allan crunched numbers, gave us a good trade, gave us a great deal on our new vehicle and sent us off to Al Svita, finance manager. Al is also exceptional in every way; friendly, no pressure, been in the business over 40 years as well. We not only bought my 2013 Tornado Red VW Convertible with Beige Roof that day, but also came back three days later and my civil union partner, Tim, traded in his vehicle for the 2013 Candy White VW Hard-Top with Black Sliding Sunroof. This dealership is all about customer satisfaction. Most people cringe at the thought of dealing with car salesmen. Mike and his entire team treat you royally and with respect. They know it is a big decision and they want you driving away with not only being satisfied with your new vehicle - but ready to encourage our families and friends to travel to their dealership for future car purchases.
