Last year, I took my Bronco Sport to them 4 times (last time about a month ago) because all the warning lights and alerts will suddenly start goin Last year, I took my Bronco Sport to them 4 times (last time about a month ago) because all the warning lights and alerts will suddenly start going off. Each time they told me there was no issue. This time, the fifth visit, the car turned off in the middle of the road and wouldn't turn back on. Eventually, I was able to restart it, and took it to Murgado the next day, but it turned off two more times while driving there. They had it for 6 days and today told me that it wasn't an issue because they couldn't recreate it, even though they tried over and over again. I asked the rep (Jennifer) if the car was safe to drive, she said yes, so I asked for that in writing. A visit to her manager later and they can't write down that it's safe to drive. It takes some obscene mental gymnastics to tell me it's ok to drive my car, give me the keys, but then not have enough faith in the work to write it down. Frustrated, I decide to take my car, but you'll be STUNNED to learn that before I could even get off the lot, the issue happens again—alerts, alarms, power steering gone, blinkers dead. I turned around to pull back in, but as the garage door was opening, I realized that those people are either wholly incompetent or complete and total liars. To be fair, I don't think the rep was lying to me. She seemed to believe what she was telling me. But honestly, what are the odds they "tested it repeatedly" and it never happened, but it happened to me before I left the parking lot? I'm no mathematician, but either I'm incredibly lucky or Murgado is full of gaslighters. I won't be going back. If you do, maybe bring a pen—they seem to be out of them. More
Luis was amazing and so helpful! Sales manager Muhammad very shady. Bait and switch, blaming their system for months of inaccurate prices. Never heard so many lies spewed in such a short amount of time. I've only had positive experiences with Murgado's service department. This time, however, I withheld one star because the service tech used my personal USB drive, which I left connected when I handed over m department. This time, however, I withheld one star because the service tech used my personal USB drive, which I left connected when I handed over my car, to install the software update that I brought my car in to receive. I was never notified of this nor asked permission, and in the process all of the data on the drive was erased. This could have been disastrous if I had any important, irreplaceable data on the drive (I did not; there was only music that I had backed up on my PC). As well, the software update took 2.5 hours. I don't know if this is above average for this type of update, but it struck me as a very long time. More
Perhaps the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Shady business practices...I am still owed money for a refund and the service department head (Jennifer) will not return my calls, texts or emai had.
