During the last snow storm, while out plowing snow I got stuck and was applying a lot of throttle to get unstuck. I got out but after the large application of throttle had a "Check Engine" light. I should mention, despite being a 2022, the truck has 2700 miles on it so I clearly wanted it looked at by the dealer under the power train Warranty. In that I don't drive it much and the Winter as nearly over I took it to Nye Service Center in Oneida and dropped it off. Keri Whitmeyer greeted me at the service counter and despite being busy listened intently to my issue and was glad that I was able to leave the truck for them to trouble shoot the issue. As with all the new Ford vehicles I have the Ford "App" and could see where the truck was and if and when it was moved. As I checked on the status of the issue I spoke to Keri on several occasions and she made it clear that historical "Codes" had been stored and cleared but they were unable to get the check engine light to reappear. I asked her to have a technician take it out and drive it, which she did, as I wanted to be sure it was OK. Long story short, today she returned the truck to me, cleaned and well checked over and with no check engine light. I am very pleased with the attention to detail and the ongoing communication Keri Whitmeyer had with me during this service event. I am glad to have the truck back but am even happier knowing Keri had her ear to the rail during every stage of this repair and kept me informed. Knowledge is power. My few experiences with the NYE Ford service department and their technician team has been amazing every time. The service ladies always greet me with a friendly “Hello” when I show up, and they’ve been f and their technician team has been amazing every time. After getting my explorer back with the engine oil dipstick loose and leaking engine oil everywhere. I had to degrease the engine, due to a technician leaking it loose. The technician who replaced the rear brakes and performed the state inspection could not clean the oil off from the engine. I will not be returning to Nye’s for service. More

First my Explorer was delayed because they contacted me for approval on repairs and not the leasing company. It was supposed to be set up so the leasing company approved any repairs. When I got my Explorer back it was leaking oil all over the engine. I notified Nye’s went I took it back in for brakes and an inspection, that should have been done the first time it was there. When I got it back after the brakes and inspection, they never cleaned up the engine oil that was all over the top of the engine. More

Vehicle went in for a recall, when I found an issue and called back to advise, the service writers wouldn’t even take time to have mechanic involved, told me if I couldn’t figure it out to come back (60 mi called back to advise, the service writers wouldn’t even take time to have mechanic involved, told me if I couldn’t figure it out to come back (60 miles round trip) and they would look at it, thank god for YouTube videos, sometimes the best mechanics around!
