I’ve had multiple service visits at Napleton in BD, and unfortunately there’s been a consistent pattern of misdiagnosis. On my most recent visit, I was told the squealing noise was caused by the alterna unfortunately there’s been a consistent pattern of misdiagnosis. On my most recent visit, I was told the squealing noise was caused by the alternator and idler pulley. I replaced both, and the squealing is still present—confirming the diagnosis was incorrect. This is not an isolated incident. Prior incorrect diagnoses have included: • An exhaust leak • The serpentine belt • The alternator and idler pulley Each visit has resulted in unnecessary repairs without identifying the actual root cause. What’s more frustrating is that when this was raised, the service manager stated this was not a misdiagnosis, despite the issue remaining unresolved after the recommended repairs were completed. The situation was overlooked and not properly addressed by leadership, which has completely eroded my trust in the service department. Because of this experience, I will be sharing it with others I interact with regularly. I would not recommend this service department based on my experience. More
