I arrived at Nelson Mazda at 4:20 pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 after checking the website for business hours (open until 7:00 pm) Also, stated on the door was "Open until 7:00 PM Mon-Fri. When I arrived, there was no receptionist at the front desk. Instead, I found several associates, including the receptionist in the rear corner of the building. I walked to the rear of the building asked to speak to a sales person. Finally, someone came to 'greet' me. Her first words were "I just want to let you know that we are closing in 30-minutes for out Christmas party. Can I show you something within the 30-minutes, or would you like to come another day?" I responded with "I left work early, drove from out of town, came to buy a car, and you want to rush me, or ask me to come another day? - - - You have a great Christmas party." And then I walked out. No one apologized, or tried to retain my business. Obviously the customer does not come first at Nelson Mazda. You have been made aware of their 'customer service' - make your own decision. -Rich More

I have a Mazda 3 and I came in to just have my back wheel locks removed and it was the best encounter I’ve had from a dealership. They were very fast, I didn't wait too long, and they did a whole vehicle ins locks removed and it was the best encounter I’ve had from a dealership. They were very fast, I didn't wait too long, and they did a whole vehicle inspection on my car too which I was surprised about. I think they washed my car too I loved that. Even though it wasn’t anything big it changed my mind about not wanting to go to a dealer to get my car worked on. Loved the service and the quality! Oh, and another cool thing was they send me a video explaining everything they did and looked at while was very helpful! I will surely come back for any service I need! From the moment I started speaking with Jeff he listened to what I was looking to purchase. I told him what I was interested and never once did he push me towards any other vehicle or even color option. Ver to what I was looking to purchase. Nothing about the experience was stressful I would actually say rather exciting. I found myself during the downtime of the process speaking with the parts department about possible options after the purchase of the vehicle. I will have to even mention while I was at the parts department counter and Dakota was away for a minute to get a labor qoute someone in passing even asked if I been helped. I appreciate how it feels that each employee cares and helps with all customers and not like others dealership where employees claim customers and they don't want anyone near them. I appreciate everything Randy does for the Murfreesboro Nelson Mazda location. He does a great job with his employees and its seen by how they are treating the customers. More
