Terrible service. Took my car in on July 5th when I discovered my brake light was on overnight. I asked them to repair it as well as troubleshoot why my windows were Took my car in on July 5th when I discovered my brake light was on overnight. I asked them to repair it as well as troubleshoot why my windows were going up and down on their own, even when the car was parked and off. Had major water in the car from what they said was a faulty weld. Very little communication. Wasn’t offered a ride nor a timeframe on when I could expect the car back. ended up renting a car because it took them until the 11th to get it done. They replaced the brake sensor under the pedal, “reprogrammed the modules” and welded/repaired the supposed area that was causing a water leak. To date I have no clue where it was located although they did give me a bottle of touch up paint?? Fast forward to August 3rd. This was the first time I drove the car since picking it up on the 11th. The car was very sluggish to start and then different screens were displaying on the dashboard at random (12 miles until empty although I had 1/2 tank of gas; dimming of lights when I wasn’t even touching the control, etc). On the media screen it showed “power off to conserve battery”. Every time I turned off the car and restarted it, the same scenario would play out. Mind you, a new battery had been installed not even a year ago at another dealership in Bradenton. I called Monday and they said I could come in at 11am on Tuesday. I dropped the car off Monday evening late. I never got a call on Tuesday after my supposed appt at 11. I got a call on Wednesday stating that I needed a new battery and that they would have to install a new relay switch for the starter. he stated the modules would need reprogrammed. I’m not an idiot…the 70+ modules in your car work in tandem and reprogramming is a risky undertaking. If one thing is off it causes problems down the line. I was also told they had disconnected the battery when they welded the leak in July. Odd that I go in July and I have a brake light and window motor issue but then drive it home 6.8 miles, park it and get back into it 24 days later and I now have to replace a new battery and reprogram it again. Yes I’m a woman and I feel like I just got f$&ked up the a$$ for another $400 bucks. I loved the good old days when anyone could work on a car (like myself). I’m waiting to see what module issue I have come up next since I’m an idiot! By far the worst experience I’ve had with Ford in my lifetime. My mustangs were all displayed in car shows through the years including my anniversary edition that Ford themselves asked me to use at an international show. The product is great but the dealer service is poor. More
DO NOT TRUST NIC FORD IN INVERNESS – A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a dealership — and sadly, it’s been both emotionally and financially drai EXPERIENCE This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a dealership — and sadly, it’s been both emotionally and financially draining. I brought my Ford vehicle to Nick Nicholas Ford in Inverness, FL, for repairs. Initially, they attempted to charge me nearly $10,000 out of pocket — until I discovered the issue was actually covered under warranty. No one at the dealership made any effort to tell me this. Had I not done my own research, I would’ve been scammed into paying a massive, unnecessary bill. To make matters worse: I never received a call from any manager or service rep during the process — not to update me, not to clarify next steps, not even to follow up after repairs. I was left without transportation and denied a ride to Enterprise rental, even though this is standard practice at most professional service centers. I had to pay rental charges out-of-pocket, and no one has offered to reimburse me. When I called in for updates, the phone was slammed down on me — extremely rude and unprofessional. After all that, my vehicle is still having issues even after the “repairs.” To make things worse, I discovered new damage to the right side and rear of my car. I live alone, and no one else drives my vehicle — this damage occurred under their care. I have opened multiple cases with Ford’s Customer Service system, including through their AI support. No manager has ever reached out, and the cases remain unresolved. I’ve been ignored and treated like an inconvenience. As a person of color, I also have to say the way I was treated raises real concerns about discriminatory practices. I was made to feel invisible, spoken down to, and disregarded at every turn. No one should have to deal with this level of disrespect and negligence. This will be the last Ford I ever purchase. I will never recommend Nick Nicholas Ford Inverness to anyone. They operate with poor business practices, lack of accountability, and a total disregard for their customers — especially those of us who don’t look like their "preferred" clientele. More
I can’t say enough about this dealership we went to a take five and had our oil change because our oil light came on along with change the fuel filter and the gentleman there told us that the bracket on take five and had our oil change because our oil light came on along with change the fuel filter and the gentleman there told us that the bracket on the fuel filter was gonna break if he took it off so we needed somebody else to change it, went straight to the Ford Dealer in Inverness, on a Saturday there’s no way we thought we’d get in, low and behold The manager was there he got a and the person that worked on the truck. His name is Matthew. He was wonderful too, came right over and looked at it to see what the issue was said yes no problem. He could do it. There wasn’t an issue with it and thank heavens he was there to help us because the other guy told us we only had one fuel filter when in fact, we had two, on a Saturday again with no appointment you know you just really don’t get service this good nowadays so we’re so thankful for them. We had to get it done today because we’re leaving Tuesday. Headed to Texas, we’re full time RV’s. More
Shortly after purchasing my used certified 2019, F150 truck the engine started vibrating, cutting off and just having trouble with the engine. I took it in for repair under the warranty three times and w truck the engine started vibrating, cutting off and just having trouble with the engine. I took it in for repair under the warranty three times and was told nothing was wrong and that I was mistaken, no problems found. On the third visit the service manager talked down to me like a dog and told me I did not know what I was talking about. I use the truck for work, highway miles only and regular oil changes, so I suspect they knew my warranty was close to being over by the mileage count and then they could charge me to fix it. Shortly after the warranty expired the head broke off the valves and blew through the top of my piston (See pics). I contacted Ford they instructed me to contact the dealer, the dealer said contact Ford, so they are playing me as the monkey in the middle. I've tried contacting the General Manager through personal contacts but no results. So, I'm airing their dirty laundry for all to see. This cost me an extra $7, 222 and i should be made whole. Be on guard if you buy from this dealer. The sales team was great (Joey) and I originally went there as they claim to take good care of disabled Vetrans, but I guess that was wrong. More
