purchased a 2022 Genesis from Norm Reeves Genesis in Irving on December 19, 2024. The sales process was not good. I felt so pressured to buy an extended warranty that I threatened to leave in order for Irving on December 19, 2024. The sales process was not good. I felt so pressured to buy an extended warranty that I threatened to leave in order for them to take the no thank you I had said 30 minutes earlier. Now for the service after the sale. The day after the sale the service due light came on. December 20th I had to drive 30 miles for them to look at the car and determine why the light would come on the day after the purchase. I was later told that I had to make my 1st payment to the dealer instead of paying to the company that financed the car. Turns out that they did not submit the paperwork in a timely manner after the sale. They made my first payment to the financial agency because of their error. This reason was not told to me until the day before my payment was due. The temporary tag that I was given has now expired. It's been over 60 days since the purchase and they still don't have my plates. I keep getting excuses on why my temporary tag expired before the plates arrived. I have been given two different dates on when the plates will be available but both days have now passed. I don't have the option to park the car, wait and not go to work. I have to drive with an expired tag and hope that a police does not pull up behind me. This was not the first car that I have ever purchased, but it's by far the worst process I have ever experienced. I will never buy another car from Norm Reeves again. I hope that someone reads this and finds a different dealership for their next purchase, if not just be ready for problems, excuses and non-professionalism. More

I finished the paperwork on the purchase of a Genesis GV 70 this morning. Shout out to Tori (sales) and Trent (GM) on making the buying process easy and seamless. We thought owning a Genesis would be a luxury car experience. Not so when you deal with Irving Genesis service department. Had an appointment for 3 months, car was there for 2 weeks with no follow- experience. Not so when you deal with Irving Genesis service department. Had an appointment for 3 months, car was there for 2 weeks with no follow-up from anyone and repairs were not made. We never got a call back from Ken Srv. Manager, David Pearson Srv. Director nor the GM. Finally just went and collected our car. We will contact Genesis Corp to advise we will never buy another Genesis nor another Hyundai - bought one for our daughter for graduation. There's no reason for the poor service, lack of communication and disregard of common courtesy. More
I wanted to tell everyone my experience with Genesis of Irving service dept. We all here about the negatives about service and how its a nightmare with Genesis. Well i can honestly say mine was fantastic. i have a 2023 Genesis GV80 3.5T AWD Sport Prestige and it was time for the first service with 6k miles on it. At first we hit a small snag with getting the appointment time and date , but we quickly got it resolved. i explained some of my concerns i was having not knowing the severity of one of my issues. when they found out after me telling one of the service advisors they reacted quickly in setting a time for me to get the vehicle there. They found a rental to give me while my vehicle was there and they quickly figured out the issue and called me to let me know what was going on. They shared what was needed to be done to repair and ordered it. they kept me up to date of the scheduling of when it would arrive and when they were to have it fixed. it was a great experience and those guys worked hard to make me feel good about everything. Great experience and really great people there at Genesis of Irving. i want to say thank you for all of what you guys do. Not just anyone could do it and put up with all the customers you guys do. Great job More
