I was at the dealership for 3 hrs and 30 minutes and explained that I needed to leave by a certain time to pick up family. During that time, I had plenty of conversation and test drove a vehicle and st explained that I needed to leave by a certain time to pick up family. During that time, I had plenty of conversation and test drove a vehicle and struck a deal with the salesperson. We went back and forth about how much the trade in was worth and how many extra charges they were trying to charge and came to an agreement after he went to go meet with the “finance guy” once. We shook hands on that said deal and he had me sign the paper that he was writing down the negotiations and said congratulations. He then asked me for the keys to my trade in for the second time after already inspecting initially and taking a video etc. He then told me to get the insurance transferred over from the trade in tot he new vehicle so that they could compete the paperwork and get the credit done since I was financing. He then went back to the “finance guy” for him to complete the paperwork while he was sending the truck to get cleaned up so that I could get it by tonight. They were going to deliver to my house and drive the trade in back since I had to pick up family from work due to having the only car in the family. They took the registration and I told them how close I was to being late. They said they needed another twenty minutes and then the deal would be done. The “finance guy” then had me come into the office off the showroom floor to complete the signatures and go over things one last time. I informed my family that I was going to be late (the car was a surprise). When I got into the office with just the finance guy, he changed the numbers in my trade to $1500 less than we agreed upon and $2600 more on the purchase price that was agreed upon. He was super friendly and fast talking and trying to get my signatures on everything really fast so that I could be in my way. Used endearing terms to make the experience desirable and make us more “friendly”. When I stopped him while he was glazing over the 4k difference, he explained about tax credit and how he was taking the $700 tax cut from my trade in because I was getting taxed on less because of the trade in. I understand that, but why should that go to the dealer and not me? I’m the one paying the taxes! Secondly, when asked about the $2600 difference in cost from the agreed upon purchase price, his exact words were “well that’s where we need to make a little bit of money Pa, we gotta make more than a thousand dollars on this car to make it worth it for us”. I told him that the salesman and I made a deal and you agreed on it and now you knew I was in a rush and late already to pick up family from work and now you are trying to get me to sign for 4k more. I told him that I was killing the deal if they were going to play it tha way and he said ok an I walked out to the sales floor. My salesman who was out in the showroom while I walked out seemed shocked and thought I was kidding when I told him. I gave him the short summary on how the finance guy upped our deal 4k and walked out. I was 25 minutes late to pick up my family from work. I wasted 3.5 hrs at the dealership and 45 minute arriving each way. I also had to now call back insurance and swap the vehicles, take the new one off and the old one back on my insurance and go home empty handed and frustrated. I will be following up with the better business bureau and the business integrity office. How could they be in business with this type of behavior? We literally negotiated a deal for an hour, approved it with the same finance guy, they ran my credit resulting in a hard inquiry on my credit report and signed a paper with the deal but then when signing with the finance guy, they changed the whole game up. They can’t waste peoples time like that and create that type of environment and will not get away with it. More
Eli, our sales rep was prompt, cordial and professional. We knew what we wanted and Eli didn’t push anything extra onto us. We test drove what we wanted and was out the door the same day!! I don’t usually write reviews, but this place impressed me. Manager Gannah helped with paperwork, explained everything clearly - no tricks. I’ll be back and definitely recommending them. me. Great dealership, honest staff. Car was perfect, deal handled properly. Wish I’d known about them earlier - everything is clear and straightforward. Car was perfect, deal handled properly. Wish I’d known about them earlier - everything is clear and straightforward. More
Bought my car surprisingly fast. No upselling, everything transparent. Test drive, paperwork, signed - calm and easy. I used to dread dealerships, but this was different. They walked me through everything - opened doors, started engines, even poured coffee. Didn’t buy immediately, but came back later. Big impression. engines, even poured coffee. Didn’t buy immediately, but came back later. Big impression. More
