I had an appointment on Thursday August 21,2025. Washington greeted by a service guy named Russ. Approaches me and says in for service , i said yes but for a rattling sound on passenger door. He visible gets frustrated right away and says you know we’re going to have to keep it for today and return tomorrow. I stated i spoke to the lady when i made the appointment and she had advised me that it’s a 3-4 hour visit. My appointment was at 9:20., i got there at 820and told him i can wait until 3 pm , which is about 7 hours. He said no it won’t be back today, do you still want the service or not ? I said no i can’t leave it i have to pick up my child from school in 7 hours. I said this isn’t cool i took a day off of work for this appointment and you’re not even trying. He told me verbatim (why don’t you take it where you bought it from). I told him i bought it from Toyota and i drove off. After i left i decided to go back because it’s my only time i could get it looked at. I got there 15 minutes after leaving and i spoke to a couple mechanic which were nice people. I was told why don’t u tell the service manager Leon. When i went into service area to ask for Leon. Russ the guy that sent me off the first time tells me oh your back again . How can i help you i said I’ll wait to speak to someone else, he says just give me your phone number let me see what i can do. Types it in and says i highlighted here it’ll be done by 11:30. My guys will take a look at it . I said oh okay thank you. It’s now about 8:35 ish , i wait for 2+ hours sitting outside in the service area. At around 10:30 ish , Russ from service calls me in and says come on in Fred we took care of it. There was too much play on the passenger door plastic that’s what it was from. We went ahead and filled it with some foam it should be good now. I leave the dealer get home only to find out. 1. The rattle is even worst than when i took it in. 2. The outer door plastics has a bunch of small scratches on the plastic. 3. They inflated my all terrain tires to max psi for no reason. After all of this i tried contacting Leon the manager without any luck. Called Thursday he was gone for the day. Called on Friday 8/22 they told me, he’s out andwon’t be back until Monday. I received an automated message asking how my service was but i have not responded yet waiting for the manager to contact me. I left a voicemail for the manager Leon. More
This my 4 th car I bought at North Hollywood Toyota. I am happy with their professional and welcoming behavior. My salesman was low key and got me almost everything I asked for. The only complaint I would have is the finance part of it and signing the paperwork. To me they take way too long trying to sell you all the excess things like warranties, etc. I just wanted to sign and go home. It took about a whole hour or more to listen to all the sales pitches. Other than that part everything was smooth sailing. More
Honestly, I have gone to this service center before, and wasn't really impressed. It wasn't until I met Jack and he helped me back in May 2025. He was the first service employee to actually follow through w wasn't really impressed. It wasn't until I met Jack and he helped me back in May 2025. He was the first service employee to actually follow through with his word and steps to solve some annoying issues my vehicle was having. He went above and beyond in making sure my issue was addressed which is why when I one of my tires needed to replaced because they were worn- I knew who to go to - and called Toyota making sure he was still working there and drove straight to him so he could replace all 4 tires. I was even hung up when I tried to request him, which normally I would have said "forget it, and go somewhere else." But thats how much of an impact he has made in my thoughts about NOHO Toyota. As some use this tactic to upsale / meet metrics, but he has an authenticity about him and I have personally witnessed, while waiting for my car or uber. He treats everyone the same way and as long as he is there working - they will have my business. More

I had the benefit of getting Paul as my service advisor this time around! He is the absolute best.
