We did an extensive online search for a used car for my son. On Monday 12/11 we found a used Mazda3 at North Park Mazda, test drove it, and told our sales person; Alyssia Morrison that we wanted the car. S son. She told us that the car needed to go through inspections and wasn’t sure that she could sell us the car yet. She promised to call when the car was through its inspections and when pressed said we would hear from her by the next Monday. On Saturday 12/16 at 1:40pm I called both her cell phone and work phone numbers and left messages on each line. She called me back and said that she thought the car was ready to be sold and promised to text me with an answer. I told her that we wanted to come in on Monday to finish the purchase. At 4pm she texted me to tell me that the car was sold to someone else. Apparently our verbal agreement wasn’t honored, she didn’t stay on top of the cycle of inspections, and couldn’t manage to pick up the phone to tell us that she had completely fallen down on her job. Terrible.. unacceptable in fact. More

So far, terrible. I had 1 request: the out the door price on a particular car. 3 times and counting I have made the request. No, Ashley. Apparently this dealership relies on moron customers only concerned with monthly payments. They are certainly out there. Still, why not take a sure sale for a decent profit, knowing that the morons will still be there, and car production is ramping up again, so you can still sell one to the moron. More

Honestly it was not a great experience. I felt used, taken advantage of and treated unfairly. I worked with Gary McClelland. DO NOT WORK WITH HIM!!!! I was under the impression that I wa I felt used, taken advantage of and treated unfairly. I worked with Gary McClelland. DO NOT WORK WITH HIM!!!! I was under the impression that I was getting a hail damage discount and then they fixed the hail damage before my appointment. Therefore there was a significantly less hail damage discount. I was also told the hail damage on the trim was not able to be repaired after I was informed the car would be fixed with no signs of hail damage. I was quoted one price and then got another. I drove 2.5 hours from our military base to get this car with this discount and I felt like I got the bait and switch when I got there. At one point during negotiations the math was wrong so we had to get out our calculator and fix the math before signing. There was over 1,000 dollars in incorrect math. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE MATH! It was not a pleasant experience and I can honestly say we will not be buying another car from Mazda North Park again. More
