My Review of North Texas Nissan:
On Febuary 8, I purchased a 2007 350 Z Touring from North Texas Nissan. I thought since my brother had bought so many cars from this dealership that i would give it a try. BIG MISTAKE ! They told me my payments were $997.28 a month. After putting $3500.00 down,I signed a contract.Dealing with Eric Kelly was the worst experience of my life. Not to mention they didnt even put the floor mats in the car,. So i called and he said he would put them right in the mail to me, since i live in Bowie,Tx. He kept asking for the deed to my house .
he tried to get me to leave my Boyfriend and 10 year old son at the dealership and he drive me to Bowie to get it. For nearly three weeks i recieved harassing calls from him to my home. I even called his boss to put a stop to it. But nothing was done. Today is March 17, 2007 at 4:00 am and they just repossed my car. I am a single mom, and now i have no way to take or pick up my son from school. The repo man said they told him i didnt get Financed. I showed him my contract and he didnt understand it either. He turned to his helper and said this is one we will be bringing back! He also said this wasnt the first time this has happened. When Nissan hired Eric Kelly they were scraping the bottom of the barrell. I dont understand how they can break a contract like they did. Bet my lawyer can figure it out though.

My Review of North Texas Nissan:
My fiance and I stop at North Texas Nissan to look at the great selection of used vehicles. My fiance is unsure of the type of vehicle she would like to buy and your inventory is very helpful. The new salesman from Alaska was very arrogant. I will no longer be checking your inventory due to your salesman's unprofessionalism.

My Review of North Texas Nissan:
I searched this dealers online inventory for used cars. When I found one I liked I called about it and was quoted an 'unsure' price of btween $7500 and $7800. It sounded great and with in my price range. So I went to take a look at it. My first mistake was telling the salesman my max limit was $10K. I then had to take a test drive with the him and listen to him take several cell phone calls while he was in the car with me and complain about not getting his Christmas bonus. When we sat down to talk price it had 'mysteriously jumped up to $8900 "and with TT&L you can still get this car for under $10K". When I reminded him he had quoted me $7500 on the phone several hours before he said no that is what they had in it and they couldn't go lower than $8900. We haggled for a while and then came the manager. He sat down and tried to blow smoke before telling me they were so proud to have beaten Trophy Nissan the week before for cars sold. I think I was supposed to be impressed but I wasn't. We haggle for a few minutes then he came back to me and said they had just recieved a phonecall from someone offering full price on this car sight unseen (I know because I had the keys to it in my hand) and unless I matched it was tough luck. What timing. I didn't say what I wanted to I just walked away.

The whole experience was shady and uncomfortable. They were very unprofessional and didn't seem to care about anything exept bonus checks and beating Trophy Nissan. I hope their next worries are "What went wrong?" I was buying my 4th car in 5 years and this experience was the worst by far. It makes me never want to buy a car again. I wanted to like this dealership because of commercials I have heard on the radio but I would not recommend this dealer to anyone.

My Review of North Texas Nissan:
DON'T DO IT!! These people are dishonest, scandilious, rude, and lazy. They practice bad work ethics and I can't believe they don't know that a happy customer is a customer for life. I think the "1" rating for customer svc, quality of work, and overall experience is too high for North Tx Nissan. I've purchased 4 new vehicles in my life and have never dealt with such an unprofessional dealership. 1st, David I. (salesman) did not inform us that the BRAND NEW car he was showing us had a replaced engine by Nissan. We did not find this out until we got home (after going through about 20 pages of paperwork). The worst part about that is the finance mgr (Sean Briggs) knew this and still sold us an extended warranty. Because the engine was replaced, the car already came w/an extended warranty. When we called to try to cancel it (the same day), he told us it was too late. When we were finally able to get our car to take it home the day we got it, (after waiting over an hour), it was FULL of scratches (hood, trunk, fenders, mirrors, doors). You would think they would mention it and say they will look in their inventory for another new car or repair the scratches immediately. They actually tried to pass it off on us. We scheduled an appt to get the scratches fixed (were told we would be contacted the following business day). I had to call them to follow up and was treated VERY rudely as if I were bothering them. When I finally got thru to the body shop, I was told they put on the paperwork "NO LOANER CAR". Not to mention, they set my appt 2 weeks out b/c they were "busy". What kind of business is that?? I called the new car sales mgr (Chris Gurley) and he told me that is not their policy. When I told him that Bankston Nissan Lewisville did it for me (I purchased my car in Lewisville, the one at NTN was for my husband), he told me, "That's them. What they do is not our policy". Well that definetely defines a good dealership from a scandilious one. I am waiting for Chris to call me back because he told me that he would try to push up my appt and get me a loaner... I'm not going to hold my breath.

Here's the worst part: They didn't want to accept my husband's car because he was upside down. They told us to turn in the car to the company we financed it through and it would be okay. "Go ahead, relinquish it or get it repossessed. It won't go against you b/c you will be paying on this car. In the end, it is a wash." I must have been wearing my "stupid" sign on me that day. I hope there aren't people out there that have given in on that one.

Oh, and for those of you who like privacy, when you negotiate, you are in the showroom floor full of tables and other people. They can hear all your business.

The only good thing about this dealership is Ahmad (the body shop manager).

*** GO TO BANKSTON NISSAN LEWISVILLE *** See Lamir or David Najor.

My Review of North Texas Nissan:
You have a WOW experience with them until you sign on the dotted line and God forbid you need to settle any unresolved issues. You are lied to and decieved afterwards. They are all about self gain and customer service goes out the window.... If you do purchase from them, just make sure all issues or needs are met prior to leaving the dealership.

p.s. you do not have to purchase those 5+ extended warranties they put on your contract without your authorization. make them take it all off prior to signing.

My Review of North Texas Nissan:
My wife and I went in to purchase a Altima. We found the one we wanted which was a slightly used 2005. Of course the car had no price listed on it, which made me slightly hesitant to start dealing with them. The car was an SE black on black leather loaded up pretty well, I figured that a one year old car with about 15k miles on it would be selling for around the $20k mark. They appraised our car (gave us a good number) and then he came back with the deal sheet made out...they were trying to sell me their car for $28k!!!! I told them that they were crazy because I could get a brand new one for that price. After much negotiating they bring in another salesman that doesn't know what the heck is going on. After about an hour of going back and forth they come back to the table and try to get us to lease. The tell me that we can lease any car on their lot for X amount of dollars and that they would cut us a check for $4k, which happens to be the same amount of money that we are putting down. I then ask him if he meant that the deal was with 0 dollars down...he said "no, you are putting $4k" I ask them to explain where the additional money would be coming from and no one was able to give me a straight answer. At that point I decided that this all was too fishy for me and ask for the keys to my trade so that we can leave, the sales person walks over to the desk that we were sitting at and grabs the deal sheet and crumples it up and throws it in the trash right in front of us....I called Bankston Nissan of Lewisville on the way home and bought at brand new 2006 for thousands less than that '05. They were the biggest bunch of crooks I have ever come across. Good luck if you decide to give them your business.

My Review of North Texas Nissan:
After agreeing on a trade in amount for my vehicle and the sales price for the vehilce to be purchased North Texas Nissan's finance department suddenly changed the terms of the agreement when it came to time to actually sign the papers. It was pretty simple, I had my own financing all we had to agree upon was the dollar amounts for the two vehicles. After spending two to three hours of my Saturday in their show room trying to get the deal done we agreed on the numbers but when I went to talk to the finance department to figure the exact amount everything changed and they were wanting about another $4000 dollars that was not discussed before. They refused to honor the original deal. The finance guy kept say "Its just another $40 dollars a month". I guess that is how they do business. They tell you one thing and then change the terms after you have a bunch of time invested because what the heck "Its just another couple of bucks a month" Make sure you have all of the details if you plan on buying a car here

My Review of North Texas Nissan:
I just bought a 2004 Nissan 350Z Roadster from North Texas Nissan, and my experience was absolutely outstanding! North Texas gave me exactly what I owed on my 1998 Honda that had 95,000 miles on the odometer. I went to 5 other DFW metroplex dealers and none were even close on #'s on the exact same car.
The entire staff was very courteous (of course they wanted me to buy their car!) Nissan is the best bang for the buck and stepping out of a CRV into a roadster is a huge step that was made to be very comfortable by North Texas Nissan. They've got a new customer for life.

After over a year North Texas Nissan wrote me a check for $9672 to settle the day before scheduled trial. This dealership will stop at nothing to rip you off and then stall until the end when you call your lawyer. Feel free to browse the open court record of settlement the day prior to trial. My Review of North Texas Nissan:
5/7/04 I went to purchase an 04 Nissan Maxima and trade in a 03 Nissan Maxima. I agreed to put $4000 down in the form of 3 checks, 1 for $2000 and 2 for $1000 each. I wrote all 3 checks and gave them to my finance person. The contract was drawn up and I agreed to the terms and signed. While I was waiting for delivery of the new car(I waited 7 days) the dealership cashed my first check for $2000. At this point they had both my trade and my downpayment but I did not have my new car. Finally I take delivery of my new car and was happy. They agree to hold my remaining checks and cash them on a date we agreed to. Weeks pass and I notice the 2 checks have no been deposited so I call the dealership asking to speak with the accounting department. They confirmed that the checks were not deposited and agreed to deposit them on a set date. The checks were never deposited. On 6/7/04 I get a call from the dealership asking me to call them. I call them and Sean(Finance Director) tells me the checks have been misplaced or lost and wants me to put a stop payment on the checks and come in the same night to rewrite the 2 checks. Knowing a stop payment takes 24 hours to take affect I decline to rewrite those checks the same night. The next day 6/8/04 I put a stop payment on the 2 checks. I call Sean to let him know that I have put stop payment on the checks. He then insists that I come in by COB that day(6/8) and rewrite the checks. He then threatens that if I don't come in by COB 6/8 that he would put a 2nd lein on the car and have the car towed. I refused to rewrite the checks until the stop payment has taken affect and insisted that I have in writing what happed to my checks. I also requested a copy of my contract that I never recieved, he stated not until I come in and rewrite the checks. By 6/9/04 he tells me he will make sure my car is impounded, the process has begun to file a law suit against me, and also accused me of damaging my trade after the deal was signed which will be included in the law suit.
