Used car experience I purchased a used car from Northtown Lexus of Amherst (Buffalo, NY). I chose late model used due to balancing affordability and reliability. The car I purchased a used car from Northtown Lexus of Amherst (Buffalo, NY). I chose late model used due to balancing affordability and reliability. The car had less than 13,000 on it. Since having picked up the car, it has been off the road because of a service problem. Northtown has seen the car twice: once attempting a repair and subsequently denying it having an issue on the second visit. They have since been sent video evidence of the problem. After having the car in my possession for two days, I offered to sell the car back to them at my loss and buy another one from Northtown. Net: They can’t fix a car; and they won’t stand behind their product. See Tom Mumma or David Dipasquale. Reference their advertising of the Golden Rule and unblemished business ethics.
