After considering the purchase of a unique economy vehicle to replace my aging gas guzzler, I visited Inskip Nissan initially hoping to satisfy my needs of replacing my vehicle but doing so with an ex vehicle to replace my aging gas guzzler, I visited Inskip Nissan initially hoping to satisfy my needs of replacing my vehicle but doing so with an extremely tight budget. After working with the sales representative there I was less than impressed with his 'old school' sales tactics of trying to sell me a car and losing sight of my initial goal of saving as much in monthly payments as that of gas and maintenance expenses. To make a very long story short, I contacted Tarbox Toyota (Scion) online and got a response right away from Greg Slater who contacted me to make arrangements for me to visit the dealership to discuss my options. When I arrived, I was greeted by Jeff Del Santo who struck me as a completely honest and 'down to earth' guy who made me feel extremely comfortable with discussing my need of a new vehicle but focusing on my overall goal of my tight budget. We test drove the Scion XD and I was instantly sold on it but the question of cost became my need priority. Both he and Fred worked to quote me a monthly payment that although sounded great, wasn't quite reality once the financing rate was applied. Had it not been for Joe Cabral's persistence in getting me a super low interest rate, I would've have been able to follow through with the purchase. Beyond this, I was also able to afford getting a few accessories through Norm Boudreau of the parts department and the installation of said parts through Steve DuCharme of Service. To continue my Tarbox experience, I was faced with a problem with my heating controls which Steve has been working to correct for me. Overall, I feel confident that I've made the right choice buying from Tarbox and feel the dealership is a very well oiled machine from Sales, to Finance, to Parts, to the Service department. Canadian importers beware, Tarbox Toyota was misleading and not honourable to what was promised. I purchased and imported into Canada, a 2010 Toyota vehicle with 5000 miles on it in September,2010 and was and not honourable to what was promised. I purchased and imported into Canada, a 2010 Toyota vehicle with 5000 miles on it in September,2010 and was led to believe the vehicle was in "new Condition". I asked for photos specific to areas of the truck but only recieved distance shots. The vehicle was listed on their "certified, pre-owned link" on their website which has now been removed since I informed them of it. I was very misled by Tarbox Toyota and when I recieved the vehicle there were many covered up scratches, rust on one location (covered up) and a missing rear headrest which is a huge safety violation for a "certified" vehicle.The headrest is $600 Canadian to replace. I tried to get it straightened out, they promised me they would and after waiting for a considerable amount of time, I was told "they are washing their hands of it" by Matt at Tarbox. Tarbox Toyota is quick to want your money, but customer satisfaction is not in their vocabulary. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone in the US and especially not if you are planning to import to Canada. More
Jeff was great. I was test driving the car I wanted within 5 minutes of arriving at the dealership. He explained all of the features of the car and answered all my questions during the test drive. I was quoted a great price that was cheaper than any other place I had gone. I was able to pick up the car the next day(Sunday). The financing end of things went well. Joe Cabral handled that and was very helpful explaining everything. The people were great and the 0% financing and the fact that they had the car I wanted on the lot were what sealed the deal. They had to be great, because my last two cars were Honda Accords (14 years). More
Overall, I had a great experience with Jeff and the Tarbox team. At first, when I arrived on the lot, I walked around and no one approached me. Jeff was very patient and did not make me feel as though I was asking too much, a reasonably priced car with low miles. Other dealers immediately tried to get me to spend $4,000 more than I could, Jeff did not. Jeff made sure to search every avenue and eventually found the car I ultimately purchased. The service team addressed the issues I noted during the test drive and I was given a rental car in the interim. I would highly recommended Tarbox and Jeff specifically to anyone looking for a new or used car. They have a large inventory and a great staff. More
Hi, We had an excellent experience at Tarbox and it wasn't the first time. We were given the run around at another dealership where they had "computer glitches", they didn't know their own inventory, wasn't the first time. We were given the run around at another dealership where they had "computer glitches", they didn't know their own inventory, the price kept going up, they failed to provide us with any other options that could have gotten us to buy, and they were bossy and made us feel stupid. We headed over to Tarbox and Jeff was great: he knew the inventory, we could see him look everything up on the computer quickly, he laid out the various options that were available to us including 0% financing and we got a great deal on the car itself including our trade-in. The whole process was comfortable and seamless and we left happy. Barbara in finance was also excellent - very thorough. More
What a great experience I had at Tarbox. I went in with the frame of mind that they would not work with me, due to past experiences. I couldn't have been more wrong! They offered me more for my trade in than any other place I had gone to before. I had a set vehicle in mind a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a set payment in mind as well. They worked so hard to make that Jeep a reality for me. My payments were where I wanted them to be and the customer service exceeded any prior experiences I have had with dealerships. Everyone was so helpful, Anthony was amazing and even the managers were friendly and helpful. When it is time for my next vehicle, I will most definitely go back to Tarbox Toyota, they come highly recommened from me! Thanks Tarbox, I LOVE my Jeep!!!! More

I have no negative things to say regarding my salesman, Mr. Turchetta. I will, however, like to point out that when spending 31 thousand dollars for a vehicle a couple things should take place in my opinio Mr. Turchetta. I will, however, like to point out that when spending 31 thousand dollars for a vehicle a couple things should take place in my opinion. those being: 1. a full tank of gas in the car i just bought from the dealership (which there wasnt)> 2. a clean vehicle inside AND out. the outside of the car was fine, but there was grime (from previous owner i suppose) on the inside of the vehicle involving the control panel area. i thought that should have been dealt with better. shows a lck of professionalism in my opinion. I have purchased 4 new Toyotas from Tarbox in the last 10 years. I used Consumer Reports pricing guide and the price quoted by Jared was right in line with what I expected to pay for my new Camry so there wa years. I was very impressed with Jimmy Poulos with respect to his honesty, attitude,cheerfulness and patience. He covered every aspect of the sales process, going over everything point by point without any pressure whatsoever.
