My Review of Open Road BMW:
Should have learned my lesson with Open Road the last few times I tried to buy a car: Honda, Toyota, Mazda and now BMW.

First I am told that finding a manaual transmission is difficult (though the forums say otherwise), and since they have to flat bed the car from outside the state, they cannot lower the the price too much. Then surprisingly, the car they were getting me got sold, and lo and behold, they were receving exactly the one I wanted, in a few days from Germany.

Lucky for me I started making some calls, and guess what, I found four such cars in the state at 3 dealers. Needless to say, never again am I dealing with Open Road BMW. I promtly drove 25 miles south to another dealer and sealed the deal.

Maybe, just maybe, the search did not show up with all the available cars, but I doubt it. This was not the first time an open road dealership tried to lie to me.

My Review of Open Road BMW:
Visited Open Road Ceritifed Pre-owned after confirming with Ahmad that the car we found online as there (he confimred). When we showed up, he had to drive us fifteem minutes to a detailing center where we looked at a very dirty car. My wife still iked the car 9assuming it was detailed properly). When we drove back to the dealership, he went to his office for five minutes, leaving my family and I in the parking lot. He retuinred and told us that while we were gone (the half-hour ride to see the car that wasn't on the lot), someone had put a deposit on the car; and themn tried to sell us something else (obviously we left). The dealreship was an hour from home, and we called prior to going to ensure all was well. I would have put up with lack of personality and a crowded, unfriendly showrrom, but I don't even kow what the hell the purpose of what happened was.

I ignored negative online ratings about this dealership, but now see my error.

My Review of Open Road BMW:
Hello,

Every several years I am on the market for a new car and the first place that I go to is BMW to look for a new car because I enjoy BMW driving experience. But I also quickly realize the reason why I do not own one and turn around and go across the street ether to Mercedes or Lexus. Not only are the salespeople are rude, obnoxious, they also have a full disregard whether the potential client is even in the showroom. I can spend a half hour in the room and not a single person would ask me what I am interested in. But as I mentioned earlier even If I would ask for some assistance the salesperson would usually be very arrogant like he is doing me a favor by selling me this vehicle. Hence the reason why I take my money elsewhere.

My Review of Open Road BMW:
I have nothing but praise for Open Road. The sale was perfect and the service is equally acceptable. The loaner is always ready upon arrival for service. The car is always ready when promised. They are very professional as you would expect from BMW.

My Review of Open Road BMW:
This is the worst dealership and worst staff I have ever seen. I was talking to this guy Eric Gross for abt a week for a lease on my wife and everything was agreed upon. He asked for all the papers and co-signer. And he would need the co-signer in person and that should be good enough. But when I was actually supposed to visit the dealership, he told me the credit was declined and he can't do much. He never even submitted the application with co-signer. I went to the dealership and talked to the sales Manager Roger but he was even worse and rude.

This is not the worst part though. It wasn't half bad that he mistyped the information, he submitted false information in his computer and when I went again to buy another car (I must be a fool to go there again. this was the closest dealer, that's why) the other sales guy (CHarles) and he pulled out the old record and started asking abt that car deal more than the new car I was interested in. He was talking as if I was some fraud. I complained to his Sales Manager Victor (I knew he was part of the whole thing, but still)and walked out. This has been by far the worst sales experience I ever had. Too bad, they missed out on 2 deals and I want to warn all the potential buyers as I have dealt with most of their staff.

Worst Customer Service and worst sales staff. STAY AWAY.............................

My Review of Open Road BMW:
Avoid this place at all costs! I had to deal with Lester "the Liar". The first BS this guy fed me was about a $350 "dealer prep charge". Good thing I read about this scam and knew it was BS. After about 20 minutes of going back and forth, he finally agreed to take away the dealer prep charge if we took away the floor mats and wheel locks. Then, when it came to payment, Lester "the Liar" refused to take a Capital One blank check because he claimed it took 8-10 WEEKS to process. I confirmed with Capital One that it only takes 72 hours to process. Then, he tried to keep getting me to sign the deal without telling me what APR BMW was going to give me. I walked out of there and bought a Lexus. ***AVOID OPEN ROAD BMW IN EDISON!!!!!****

My Review of Open Road BMW:
Alan doesn't spin tales or feed you BS. He'll get you the best deal he can on a car because he knows his livelyhood relies on referrals and repeat customers. I'm one who has bought 3 cars from Open Road, and referred about 6 people to them - the people I referred have all been satisfied.

I'll also note that I've had good experiences with the service department - they have frequently gone above and beyond in taking care of problems, and have always resolved any problems to my satisfaction. When the BWM quality survey people call - Open Road service has always deserved 5's across the board.

Great dealer - there are two other dealers MUCH closer to me - but I'll travel the hour to buy and have my cars serviced at Open-Road.

BTW - at the moment, I own 3 BMW's.. cars. One real BMW (2 wheeled.)

My Review of Open Road BMW:
Was sold a car with a Bad Clutch and Cracked spare rim. Denied that car was sold to me like that. Service department got involved and sided with Preowned department to save money. If taking the spare rim out of the spare tire compartment consitutes damaging it, then i'm guilty. CPO manager asked if I thought he was Santa Clause. In utter disgust, I said i'd never go there again. Filthy people there, all they want is your money. Have had much more pleasant expereiences at other dealers. Was also lied to numerous times by Assistant Manager David Rojas and falsey accused. I proved to him that I could not have done the damage after he accused me and he walked away with his tail between his legs. He then said he would take care of it and thats when Rich DaVilla got involved and accused me of scamming his dealership.

Letters to owner and GM went unanswered as expected.
