When I went in looking for a diesel truck, Art was very patient and knowledgable about the trucks on the lot. He was attentive whenever I would ask about a truck price, he wasn’t pushy. I wasn’t entirely s patient and knowledgable about the trucks on the lot. He was attentive whenever I would ask about a truck price, he wasn’t pushy. I wasn’t entirely sure what trick to get, but with his help I found a 3500 with the right amount of miles for the right amount for my budget. More
I went to Pacific Auto searching for a 2021 Jeep Rubicon for my 18 year old daughter. The rubicon is her dream car. My sales person (Edwin) was very professional and he showed me a variety of vehicles. After I selected the vehicle I wanted, we went inside and discussed some numbers. After getting the total for the car, I told Edwin I would return the following day to test drive the vehicle, review the car fax report including the maintenance records and make decision on the purchase of the vehicle. The following day I called Edwin and even though he was off work he managed to get me the total cost of the vehicle along with the help of the Sales Manager Wes. Later that day, I arrived at the dealership and met with Wes and another sales person (Josh). Josh was also professional and rode with me as I test drove the vehicle. Josh answered all of my questions about the car. Once the test drive was over I walked around the vehicle to check it for any visible damage. The car was pretty dirty so I asked if it could be cleaned up. I was informed by Josh that the vehicle would be washed while I was in signing paperwork with the finance guy. The finance guy was also great. I actually enjoyed filling out all the paperwork with him. He actually had a smile on his face the entire time. The only issue I had was the vehicle was dirty. I inquired again in the finance office and I was told the vehicle was being washed. After I completed all the paperwork in finance I was given the keys to the car. The first thing I noticed when I walked outside was how poorly washed the car was. It was still dirty. I also noticed a scratch and small dent on the rear bumper and a few more minor nicks and marks here and there that wasn’t visible due to the car being dirty. I asked Josh if there was anything we could do about the dent on the bumper and he said, “No”. I know the car is used and I did not expect it to be perfect but not washing the vehicle properly before a purchase seems a little bit skeptical. When I got home my daughter was extremely happy with the car. There’s nothing better than a Dad who sees his baby girl happy with a big smile on her face. Overall, the buying experience was a good one. I just recommend that the vehicles being purchased should be washed and tires dressed before and upon completion of the sale. More
BUYER BEWARE. I went to look at a vehicle and was willing to pay cash for the vehicle. After a test drive I was willing to purchase a said vehicle and realized a I went to look at a vehicle and was willing to pay cash for the vehicle. After a test drive I was willing to purchase a said vehicle and realized a few things. The tires were old and I had a tire gauge at hand. It was literally at the bare minimum for wear to be replaced. I brought up the recommended maintenance for the vehicle after checking the carfax and the spark plugs and battery besides the tires would need to replaced in 6 months to a year. After said things I saw I tried to negotiate a price. After an eternity I was presented with a full retail price andno negotiation plus $4500 in junk dealer add ons. Literally every vehicle on the lot has these xxxxxxxx options they tell you about after you are willing to purchase such as $1500 for part etching which the police department could care less about. A GPS tracking unit for a car that is paid for in cash. $1500 for that. And some paint scheme for $1500. $4500 on added crap that they put into the price. I went thru 2 sales managers then the “boss”. A business like this needs to fail, No sale. More
