My Review of Passport BMW:
Passport was the only dealer that had the car that i wanted in the country. I contacted Ed and we negotiated a deal out very quickly. They aren't giving cars away but they will give you a fair deal. I flew in To Baltimore and Passport picked me up at the airport and after some quick signatures had me on my way. I live in Chicago and went to every dealer in the area to try and close this deal and none of them gave me even close to the customer service that Passport did. They can and will ship cars anywhere i just decided to pick mine up. I suggest you give this dealer a shot no matter where in the county you reside.

My Review of Passport BMW:
this is the 3rd CPO BMW i have purchased from this dealership and all 3 times it needed to go back to the dealer for repairs that should have been corrected during the inspection. last time, it took 5 trips (5 personal days off work for me) and its still not right. in fact, while driving home the X5, we were pulled over by the police for inoperative brake lights. turned right around and went back to the dealership, who put us in a loaner for over a week. and this was a certified pre-owned (CPO) car. can you imagine if it was not?

service does what is least required to get the cars ready for the sales lot. this is a BMW, not a chevy. guess they try to cut corners to save a buck, but what happens is they lose a customer for life. i even bet the owner of the dealership that i could find one obvious thing wrong on any CPO car on the used lot. never heard back from him.

what is a terrible shame is that used BMW sales is outstanding, which is why i returned and bought more cars. not anymore. price doesn't sell cars; service does.

My Review of Passport BMW:
Bought an X3 from this dealership via internet. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone!!!

Sent desired X3 specs direct to dealership off BMW website. Good price quote. Unfortunately no response to calls and very slow response to emails up after deposit.

Had to show up with cheque to buy car after no response. Car lacked mats as ordered and had stains in back area. Offensively low trade-in quote on 2001 Audi which manager refused to explain. We sold it for $6K more than their offer.

We were promised BMW Assist would be transferred to fiance's name - still not done after 1 month. Promised title in 2 weeks - not received until we called after 1 month. No call from Sales Manager as he promised. No response from Owner regarding problems after I called.

Had to go directly to BMW Headquarters to resolve these problems. Good service from BMW headquarters. What a disappointing experience for a car we are very happy with.

My Review of Passport BMW:
This has been one of the most horrific experiences I have had dealing with a high end car dealership. I leased a 2008 535i from Passport BMW and ofcourse, I was told such good things about the service department. Day 3 of the lease, I had to get the car towed since the car would not move from the Park position. They kept it for 2 weeks and when it returned, it had less than 2 miles gas available on it. I had to go and get gas from the gas station so I can drive it there for refuling. The car looked Dirty from the inside and outside. I complained to the new sales manager and he apologized and promised that this would not happen again.

2 weeks ago, I had problems with the console and iDrive on the vehicle. My car went in shop for over 4 days and I have not received any proper updates. I had to request everyone in the service department several times to get more information. Finally I received my car back today and SAME PROBLEMS. The car is filthy and NO Gas. I called to let them know, and TONY (Manager of Red team service department), tells me that the car was cleaned and not driven anywhere. He had told me earlier that they ran the car for 3 days while running tests on it continuously. Then he starts talking in a bad manner and thretning to hang up when I am trying to explain to him the whole situation.

I was about to recommend a friend of mine to buy a vehicle from this dealership because of the pricing and promises they made about the service but this is surely changed my mind.

I bought my car form Passport BMW on 07/15/2007, I have not driven it yet because it was not ready for sale. I went several times thinking the car would be ready, taking off from work but the same problems were there. I am extremly un satisfied!

My Review of Passport BMW:
My X-5 is a lease and has been in the shop 15 times in the past 30 months. The general manager Joe Long and Jay Klein have done NOTHING for us and refuse to do anything for us. They do not return calls or e-mails. The car is still under warranty, but it is still not in normal working order. BMW customer service is not responsive either. They have referred us back to the dealership and the dealership ignores us. My frustration is growing!!

My Review of Passport BMW:
Met with Joern and Dave Myers. Very professional, courteous, prompt response and upfront in the dealings.

You have to know you numbers b4 u approach them though. Other than that, its a GREAT experience.

I would recommend anyone who wants to get a best deal through them only after you have DONE your research. Visit www.bimmerfest.com/forums for ACTUAL wholesale pricing, ask a dealer topic for any leasing info .. etc

Everyone is out to make a profit. We as a customer want to reduce the price and they as the salesperson wants to increase the profit.

Negotiation will go back and forth and if you do know your numbers well, you will get a GREAT DEAL.

Do not hesitate to do comparison with other dealers for a better price. All in all, VOB is willing to offer me a much better price if I FAX OVER the numbers provided by Passport but I stayed with Passport simply because of the professionalism.

Hope this helps for future lurkers

My Review of Passport BMW:
beware of the nice guy and big bill service. before you start digging a deeper hole, find another service center. this is the only service department i have done business with that makes the customer feel like its your lucky day when the bill is below a $1,000. fool me once shame on you...fool me twice same on me....Stay away!!!

My Review of Passport BMW:
Purchased a E90 330i from Peter Brizan in the Internet sales department. Excellent price, no hidden fees, and Peter is very knowledgeable about the cars.

I originally went to a BMW dealer closer to me, then I read on other Internet forums that Passport was the best place to buy a BMW in the DC area. I can't comment on all the DC area dealerships, but I can say that Passport, and particularly Peter, was extremely friendly, honest, and professional. He also gave me a great price, so I bought from them.

I will update my review once I take delivery of the car in 6-8 weeks. So far, I could not recommend them more highly.

My Review of Passport BMW:
Bought my first BMW from Passport. Absolutely no games, ended up paying about $1000 over invoice on a $45K E90 330i. During the manufacture, shipping and delivery of the car, I was kept up to date.

On the day we picked it up, it was a no hassle experience. Sadly Jim is no longer there but according to the various message boards, there are several friendly sales associates that stepped into his shoes.

Passport is a 150 mile round trip for me - I live in Bel Air, MD. Their responsiveness, friendly non-snooty attitude and pricing made me go there and bypass Towson and Bel Air BMW for my business.

I will certainly go there first for my purchase of a 335 next year.

Highly recommended.
