Katie, we sure are sorry about you having to come back to the dealership multiple times. We feel your frustration! Honda worked directly with Apple on the Apple Car Play interface and in order to use it without issue, you have to use an Apple brand cord to attach your iPhone to the smart phone USB port. Although aftermarket cords and cables are very popular, using them in this way causes connectivity issues. This is a known issue and we are hopeful that Honda / Apple will come up with a better solution!
