I just had my Buick into the Service Department to have the A/C looked at, and to replace an interior part. First, I want to say everyone was pleasant, friendly, and professional. The showroom, service areas, restroom, etc… were immaculate, and I felt safe there with my regular maintenance during COVID restriction professional. This time, my pump unexpectedly went bad again (in addition to 3 yrs. ago, and Norman Gale did the repair). I was so very grateful Luis took the car in on Saturday, as the vehicle barely made it in from Jersey City, starting to overheat nearby the dealership. So thankful they started work on it, as I work weekends. The big concern was I had no way home. I live alone in JC, and many do not own a car here. I was surprised the dealership did not know the big car rental places were not open. I assumed the dealership had some rapport with at least one of them to know this. At the time, I was told there were no loaners available. Getting desperate, as it was mid-afternoon, and there was no shuttle either, I went up to the first person, Patrick, I saw available in the showroom, if I could speak with a manager to find a way home. Patrick worked behind the scenes, and also spoke with Luis. Luis worked out a loaner, I got home safely, brought the loaner back Monday morning, and got my vehicle back Monday afternoon. So far, it is running well. My only concern is on those days when problems arise suddenly, and you can’t make advance arrangements, and loaners and shuttles are not available, that there are options researched, and info is available on how to get home, should the car not be ready within the day. I am 30+ miles away, but always felt trusting coming to the dealership. More
