Platinum Hyundai of Tracy

Went Platinum Hyundai and had pictures taken for the bad paint on my 2018 Sonata. The service writer was supposed to contact Hyundai corporate to see if it qualified for the 10 year paint warranty Hyundai paint on my 2018 Sonata. The service writer was supposed to contact Hyundai corporate to see if it qualified for the 10 year paint warranty Hyundai offered on pearl white cars. I waited two weeks and received and no calls. I called the Service Dept and was told someone would get back to me. I waited another two weeks and got no calls. I then wrote a letter to the Dealer Manager asking if Hyundai responded back about the paint. That was a couple months ago. I received no response. A couple weeks ago I went there for a bad starter replacement. I inquired about the paint and was told Hyundai corporate never got back to them. On the starter replacement I told them I had bought an extended 10 warranty . When I picked up the car I was told the Warranty company turned down the request. When I got home I called the Warranty company and they said there is no record of the dealer calling about the starter. Someone isn't truthful. The warranty company has agreed to pay $598.77 of the cost of the starter replacement. Also took my Sonata last week to the Hyundai dealer in Stockton and the next day I found out that low and behold Hyundai is going to repaint it. You guess if I will be going to Platinum for anything again. More

I called to purchase a 2020 Kia Forte which they said they had and if I wanted purchase over the phone, I could. I’ve done over the phone purchases with small dealers, you would think a big business dealership like this would have no problem and I was definitely wrong. They tell after my approval that they sold the car a week ago. Please, if you have a specific car in mind, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. There is a probably a whole in the whole dealership down the street that would be more honest and respectful with your time and information. They only want to sell cars they want to sell and do not care about you. I did even try to work with sales team to get me in a car I wanted in case this was just a simple error but they refused to help me, only trying to help themselves by wanting me to purchase higher priced cars. I have been to many dealerships and never have I been treated the way these people treated me. More

I had originally reached out to another location when shopping for my car and although they were very kind and helpful I just didn't feel that there was enough proactiveness on their end to make sure I g shopping for my car and although they were very kind and helpful I just didn't feel that there was enough proactiveness on their end to make sure I got what I needed in a timely manner, so I decided to look at other places and that's when I found Platinum Hyundai of Tracy! It was a little further than I would prefer to go but ended up being 100 times worth it! Shout out to Ary for his prompt responses to all my questions in regard to purchasing my new Hyundai Kona! I saw the one I wanted online, filled out the questionnaire and Ary promptly, but without any pressure, reached out to answer any and all questions I had. I knew exactly what I wanted and what I could afford and without missing a beat he made it happen for me AND even drove up to deliver the car to my office on his day off. (special shout out to the other staff member who also drove up with him on his day off, but I don't recall his name - I'm sorry!) The whole process was super smooth and efficient from start to finish and now I'm soooo happy in my beautiful new car. This location is clearly the place to go when searching for a new car! More
