I own a Corvette and purchased touch up paint pen from Arcadia Chevrolet. Unfortunately, The parts department sold me a touch up paint pen they had since 2017 and was 8 years old and expired. The paint pen did not work because it was expired and the paint was all gooey. When I finally spoke with the parts manager Chris( never calls you back)( took over 3 weeks to finally get ahold of Chris), instead of ordering me a new paint pen as they said, Chris tells me to return the defective paint pen and he will refund my money back to me. Chris confirms my information and tells me he will send me a return shipping label and refund me upon receipt. I never received the return shipping label, so I called and spoke to Chris again. Chris now tells me to discard the expired paint pen and he will refund my money. I never received the refund, so I call Chris again and he tells me he is unable to refund from his end and that I should contact my Bank/credit card and dispute to get my refund. Chris did not honor his word. This is not how a GM dealership should be run. Very unethical and unprofessional. Arcadia Chevrolet is tainting the GM and Chevrolet Brand name. This was so frustrating and I am extremely unhappy with my experience with Arcadia Chevrolet and would not recommend this dealer or bring my Corvette to them for service as they have poor business practices and do not honor their word. Let me preface this review by saying the price was right on, but the customer service had been seriously lacking. In late March 2024, we found a vehicle we wanted to purchase from the above dealership. We made numbers work, so I drove from middle Georgia down to Arcadia to pick up the vehicle. I purchased another vehicle somewhere else just a few weeks prior and received all documentation (registration, bill of sale, etc ...) within a few weeks. With Arcadia, I was waiting almost three months to have anything make it to my local DMV. Come to find out, they sold the vehicle without ever having possessed the original title, which is a big no-no per the DMV and Attorney General's Office. When I asked them that about three-four times via email they would not answer that. Per the Florida DMV, "The dealer is required to have the title in their immediate possession in order to sell the vehicle." Then, to top things off, I asked them a few days ago for a third temp plate (Heard that, THIRD) because it had blown off and was told the dealership could not give me any more and that it had to come from corporate and he would let me know. Take a guess if they let me know ... Last Monday, I believe, they said they finally got the title in and would take two weeks for it to finally get to my DMV. I email them today and they said they already sent it out and that it should've gotten there last Thursday ...last Thursday! All that waiting and not one time did they bother to just say, "here is the tracking info. it went out the door today." NOTHING. I have already submitted a complaint with the Florida DMV and Attorney General's Office. This is not the way to do things. More
