Porsche of Boise

I purchased a 2021 Porsche Cayenne S new from the dealership and have had a series of issues. My overall experience with Porsche Boise is very different from the high standards I have known over many dealership and have had a series of issues. My overall experience with Porsche Boise is very different from the high standards I have known over many decades of Porsche ownership. From the beginning, I could not let my Cayenne sit for more than 3 days without the battery dying. The service advisor told me that was the way it was. At her recommendation, I purchased a battery maintainer and had a pigtail installed to make connecting it easier. Over 4 years, I had to replace two lithium batteries. The last one died after 2 days off a maintainer. Finally, I contacted a friend at the Porsche Experience Center who called xx. The battery should maintain a charge for 10-12 weeks without a maintainer, and there was a known problem with the electrical bus in some Cayennes that would cause the battery to die in 3 days. After writing Porsche Corporate, I finally got the attention of the Boise dealership. They kept my car for exactly 4 weeks and appear to have fixed it. They did provide a loaner. What they refused to do was reimburse me for the last battery ($2000) because my Cayenne was 4 weeks out of warranty, even though they admit that a warranted condition caused the battery failure. As to why the service advisor would repeatedly tell me over the course of 4 years it was normal to have a Cayenne die after sitting three days, they remain mum. Usually, in a dealership, the salesman who sells you your car is a resource if issues arise. Not so here. My overall experience in Boise is very disappointing and, in my experience of owning 7 Porsches over the years, very unusual. I can't recommend this dealership More
