I was in the market for an inexpensive used car and I saw one I liked at Mini of Ramsey. I sent an inquiry and was contacted by a salesman. I told him I would be able to put a down payment of about 25 percen one I liked at Mini of Ramsey. I sent an inquiry and was contacted by a salesman. I told him I would be able to put a down payment of about 25 percent of the asking price. He asked me if I could send a deposit of $1000 to hold the car. I asked how about a hundred? He snootily replied: We deal in thousands sir, not hundreds.He sent me a proposal for sale and they added in $500 for some appearance package and $500 for nitrogen in the tires And $999 for dealer fees. I informed him that I didn't want, nor would pay $1000 for packages I don't want. He assured me he would remove them. So I completed the application for credit and sent a copy of my license. I heard nothing back,so I called him the next day. He said the bank won't approve it unless I can put down an extra $1000. Why would I finance a car at a high interest rate if I have lots of money lying about? So I told him that I can't get another thousand dollars. He said he'd try to work on it. A couple days go by and I hear nothing. So I called him and he said it was a no go. This dealership must pay their sales staff salary because if they were on commission they wouldn't ghost a potential customer. They don't want your business if you don't have great credit and a huge down payment . I'd avoid this place. They don't treat people very well. I'll buy elsewhere More

When attempting to purchase a mini I ran into a situation that required me to come back. Ruby king was very understanding and assured me she would be there when I made a decision.
