I'm writing in regard to a recall for a 2020 Explore ST Line for the 360 cameras having a blue screen that my wife to into be fixed while I'm out to sea at the moment. She took our car in and this is what was told to her by the service department, that they had to jump the car the car had no battery issues before being taken in for the recall. So, they allowed my wife to drive off the lot without check the voltage of the battery with our children in the car mind you she stops at a seven eleven to get our children slushies, they get back into the car to go home and the car won't start due to the battery being depleted and she smells burning wiring luckily she close to her sister's house and they call the tow truck to get it back to the dealership, they do an multipoint inspection on the car and come to the conclusion that it needs a new alternator and battery coming to around $1900.00 they are refusing even look at wiring issues until the alternator or battery is replace this a mistake on their part whenever their electrical work done the it is the responsibility of the technicians to double check all wiring, harnesses or battery terminals to make sure that the car is safe to drive for their customers this wasn't done and now they want to charge $1900.00 to fix their mistake there was now battery or alternator issue when my wife brought our car into the service department it was only a recall for the 360 cameras. This is by far the worst service experience I've ever received from any dealership and to top it off my 2013 F150 was just this same dealership, and we paid $3200.00 for the repairs on it. If you are from NC, do not purchase a vehicle at Priority Ford Norfolk. I purchased a new Ford from them December 9th. I still do not have my Title. My insurance has not been registered to the NC Department Ford Norfolk. I purchased a new Ford from them December 9th. I still do not have my Title. My insurance has not been registered to the NC Department DMV Liability Insurance. I do not have my tags transferred. Now I am receiving letters from NC DMV Liability Insurance about my trade in vehicle not having insurance. This whole sales process has been very bad. They have 28 days to do this, and we are past that. This rating system asked me to rate employees. The people I met are not listed. More
recall on my ford escape needed entire driver side door replaced. 1st trip to dealership was at the end of June! I was told my door had been ordered. I began to just communicate with the service manager because i had so many issues, he told me he would be my point of contact. He called me in September to tell me my door should come in mid October! I have left 2 voicemails that are not being returned. My door will not stay opened on its own which causes a safety issue and it sounds like it will fall off. I am beyond disappointed now I am just angry. This is unacceptable. More
