We originally started our truck search with Michale Varasse, but that was short lived as Mr.Varasse seemed to want to persuade me to choose other vehicles that I was not interested...he kept telling us Varasse, but that was short lived as Mr.Varasse seemed to want to persuade me to choose other vehicles that I was not interested...he kept telling us he had a black ford four door 4wheel drive and brought me two red trucks and then proceeded to tell me I could come in and get online and pick a truck to buy off the internet..I did not want to do this, he asked me why I wanted a ford and I said (and no offense) because I dont like GM products he then in a snide voice said, "well, you're driving a gm product now!" after that remark and dealing with his attitude and the dip of tobacco in his mouth I left the lot and went to North Point Ford, I did not find anything there that I wanted so my husband and I returned to Roberts, we saw two men standing out front, one being Jason Volze, and we told him that we wanted to buy a truck but we didnt want to deal with Mr. Varasse again and told him why...he apologized and offered his help. We told him what we wanted and that we were already approved and we looked around the lot but had to head home to feed our children. The next morning we called Jason and he said he had us a truck, we got on the website fell in love and told him to work the numbers and we would be there soon...we got there test drove it, fell in love and Jason had us in and out in about an hour. He helped get our payments exactly where we needed them and even helped me keep our kids occupied while signing the papers...he went beyond the expectations of what any salesman has ever gone for us. He is AWESOME!!!!! At no point did Mr. Varasse even offer his apologies or say anything to us, Jason did all the work! When I asked who would be receiving the commission off our sale I was told Mr. Varasse would! I was appauled, that man drove me away from your lot and did nothing!!! JASON DESERVES EVERY DIME FROM THIS SALE AND THEN SOME!!!! AND WHEN I RECOMMED A DEALERSHIP TO GOT TO, I WILL RECOMMEND ROBERTS AND TO SEE JASON VOLZE AND TO STEER CLEAR OF MICHAEL VARASSE!!! Jason has also called us twice since our purchase to see how everything was going and to make sure the truck was doing great as well and it is!!!! WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH JASON AND WITH ROBERTS AUTO....AND WHEN WE COME BACK WE WILL DEAL WITH OUR SALESMAN JASON VOLZE (not sure if im spelling jason's last name right)sorry if i spelled it wrong. I was hung up on by Keith in used car sales. I called back and the receptionist answered. Keith was in the background screaming "hang up on him, hang up on him, he didn't want to leave his phone number. back and the receptionist answered. It they treat customers like that at the very beginning of what could have been a sale, they will treat you like that throughout the entire experience. More

I call and try to find out roughly what kind of price flexibility they had before I drove 75 miles for a car I wasn't going to pay the listed price on. I call and talk to the manager Ron, who was very nice, but would not discuss price as he wanted me to come look at it, drive it, and make sure I like it first. So, I drive 75 miles with my buddy. We get there and Ron directs us to a guy who introduced himself as "Coach". We sit down in his office and he pulls out a clipboard and says "Are you ready to buy this car?" Uh, no I am not, because you haven't even shown it to me yet. He was pushy and forgetful (I had to tell him my name 4 times in the 30 minutes I was there). I told him straight up from the start that I was interested in the car but I wasn't going to buy it that night and I wasn't going to pay the price they had it listed at. So we go outside and look at the car. He asks if I like it and am ready to buy it. Again, I tell him I like it, but I am not going to pay the listed price. At this point he starts literally yelling at me...."I never said you had to pay that"....blah blah blah. I was like, look man, I am just being honest with you so you don't get your hopes up or try to push it on me, that he isn't going to push me around. He continues yelling that I am not going to push him around either, yadda yadda. I was just trying to be honest with him and I was calm and polite about it. I should have walked then, but tried to keep my patience. We go inside and he pulls the "someone else is in the final stage of buying, just waiting on financing approval" pitch. He takes my contact info down. I told him I was 75 miles away, near X city. He asks if I am in Y city....no, I am not, I am in Z city....to which he replies, "So what do you do in Y city?".....nothing, because like I just said, I am not in Y city. He then presses me for a couple minutes on running my credit application. I am not going to buy tonight, you won't even talk about the price with me, I am not going to run a credit app and ding my credit score just because. Especially if the other people are buying it anyway. "Coach" was the most pushy, irritable, and forgetful dealer that I have ever dealt with....and knowing the general pushy attitude of many dealers, that's obviously saying something. At this point, I wouldn't drive 75 miles just to sign paperwork on a car they were going to give me for free. Awful experience in terms of car buying....a great experience in terms of a funny story that you almost couldn't make up. Good game, "Coach", you lose. More
