From start to finish, this was the most positive car buying experience I have ever had. When we arrived to the dealership for our scheduled test drive, the 2026 Ford Explorer Platinum was ready and wait buying experience I have ever had. When we arrived to the dealership for our scheduled test drive, the 2026 Ford Explorer Platinum was ready and waiting for us at the front entrance, as was our Sales Professional, David Holman. After taking a brief test drive, I requested to be given the out the door, paid in full price, and stated that I did not want to discuss financing. In less than 10 minutes I was given that price, and my request to not try to influence me into financing the purchase was honored. I was shocked, but pleasantly surprised, to discover that the price advertised on the dealership's website was indeed the true price. The majority of dealerships will show the list price of a basic vehicle, while showing photos of a fully loaded one so that they can pull the old bait and switch tactic. David was very knowledgeable, personable, and very easy to work with. After completing the initial part of the paperwork with David, we were taken to John to complete the process and to go over extended warranty options. We chose the Platinum level warranty to go along with the Explorer Platinum. Finalizing paperwork was quick and painless, and John was also extremely knowledgeable in answering our questions, and very friendly. I left the site briefly to secure my cashiers check for payment, and upon my return from the bank, David was waiting with my new vehicles keys in hand. He accompanied me to the car and assisted me in doing the initial set up of the system. The entire process, from the time we arrived at 9:30 for our test drive, to David congratulating me on my purchase once he had directed and helped me with set up, took less than three hours. I am truly impressed and will be recommending Randy Marion Statesville to anyone that I know in need of a vehicle, and will tell them to ask for David Holman to be assigned as their Sales Professional. More
