I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Red McCombs Ford. When I purchased my Ford F-250, I was promised that the windshield would be replaced and the damaged leather interior would be repaire McCombs Ford. Despite multiple follow-ups over the course of a month, neither issue was addressed. Shortly after, a month to be exact the fuel pump failed, sending metal shavings throughout the fuel system. This resulted in approximately $14,000 in repairs. Now, just a year later, the transmission needs to be replaced at a cost of around $11,000. The original windshield issue still has not been resolved. During this process, I had an altercation with a service advisor, and my warranty claim was not handled properly. As a result, the warranty company is now refusing to cover the transmission repair. I have also received misleading emails from employees and have sent a formal complaint to upper management without any response. More

I purchased a 2022 Kia Telluride from McCombs Ford West, and within 24 hours the check engine light came on and the car began shaking. You’ll end up paying more in rental car fees than the cost of the warranty itself. Their warranty claim process drags on for weeks, leaving your car sitting at the service center while you’re stuck paying out of pocket for transportation. I’ve had to take this vehicle in four separate times for service. To avoid piling on more rental fees, I eventually paid the invoice out of pocket—even though the warranty should have covered it. This dealership prioritizes their bottom line over their customers’ well-being. If you’re thinking about buying from here, I strongly urge you to think twice. Don’t make the same mistake I did. More

Dealership tried to sell me on unneeded maintenance at 30k miles. They wanted to flush coolant and brake fluid without an inspection of their condition. If you are a woman, Red McCombs Ford will take advantage of you! They charged me 2,000 for a battery and keys. They claim that they did all this other stuff to it but they didn't and I had to TOW it back ho of you! They charged me 2,000 for a battery and keys. I took my 2008 ford sport trac for service in September and still waiting for my pcm replacement. The service adviser Adam told me they couldn't help me and to contact ford motor company. Had a great experience with sales. However, finance was a different story. While signing the paperwork, I decided at the time I would get the extended warranty. They told me the refund would appear in 6-8 weeks. Noticed after 8 weeks I still did not have the refund on the lien. After sending 3 emails and 2 phone calls, all of which went unanswered; I finally decided to file a complaint with the OCCC. Within a day of me filing the complaint they reached out saying they were issuing the refund. They waited until the complaint before they submitted the paperwork. I say all this to be cautious. If you buy a policy and then decide to cancel, make sure you follow through. Had I let it go after signing the cancellation form I wouldn't have that refund. More

****update Red McCombs informed me that they will not be paying for the damages caused to my taillight (water intrusion) while it sat on their service lot exposed to the elements for over a month as they be paying for the damages caused to my taillight (water intrusion) while it sat on their service lot exposed to the elements for over a month as they waited for approval from the tow company to pay for the repairs. These guys are crooks and I would be hesitant to buy from Red McCombs and definitely not use their crooked service dept. Beware.**** Where do I start. From service advisors not calling me back when they say they will or at all in a timely manner to my vehicle being in the shop the first time for over a month only to get it back and drive it for a couple hours only to have it break down again in traffic. Ford roadside sent a tow 4 hours later and they damaged my rear taillight with body damage in transit. Pictures to prove it was their fault. My truck sat in Ford's service lot another month as they waited for more parts and to get approval from the tow company that they would pay for the damage their driver caused. Over 3k worth of damage. Now after 2 months of paying for a truck I haven't been able to drive and get my truck back and I immediately get error messages related to issues stemming from the replaced damaged light. Back to the service department. Again with lacking communication I'm finally told that their was water intrusion into the light causing corrosion to some part and that's not covered under warranty. I would be responsible for it. 1k for repair. I told service that this water intrusion occured while the truck sat in service for over a month and it wasn't my problem. Ford said they weren't going to pay either and would try to go after the tow company a second time for additional damages but it could take up to 2 to 3 more weeks. The service manager Issac Miller was very dismissive of our concerns about how long our truck has been in service and says it's Ford's issue and not the dealerships problem, and that was just have to wait. He doesn't care that we've had to make 3 payments now on a truck that we haven't been able to drive in months, paid taxes on rentals, car insurance and some Uber costs. Needless to say once this issue is resolved we will no longer be buying any Ford products ever again... Been lifelong Ford owners... Simply because the Red McCombs has been the worst representation of Ford we've ever had to deal with. More
