My Review of Regent Dodge:
This was our first and last visit to Regent Dodge.

My son’s 2004 Dodge Neon SRT stalled and would not start so the car had to be towed to the closest Dodge dealer which happened to be Regent Dodge. They provided a print out that states "bad cell-replace" for the battery and did warranty work for an alternator wire. This car has had similar problems and it has never been a bad battery. The problem has been the alternator or another electrical issue that has been warranty work with no charge for swapping out the discharged battery. We had this battery tested at 3 locations. 1.) Interstate Battery System of Music City; 2.) Regent Dodge (second test) and 3.) Lebanon Dodge, all the consecutive tests show that the battery is good including the second test at Regent Dodge. We have proof that there is nothing wrong with the original battery. They charged us $47.00 to replace the battery. When we spoke to Dan Downey - General Manager and asked him to waive the fee because the original battery is good; he said, "No, you asked us to change the battery". Again, the only reason we asked that the battery be replaced with another battery that we provided; is because of the printout that they gave us stating the original battery is bad.

To me this is outright fraud, they know the battery is not bad even after the second test they performed but insist on charging for work that did not need to be done. BEWARE.

My Review of Regent Dodge:
My wife took her truck in for a warrenty repair. They did fix that problem but they conned her out of nearly $400 for "maintenance". The truck mind you, had only 35,000 miles and ran great. Only two of the "maintenance items" are listed in owner's manual and wasn't scheduled to be done for another 13,000 miles. The other items were not even listed as scheduled maintenance. They were such things as adjust throttle body(?) and clean fuel injectors. As I said, the truck ran great. Obviously it did not need these acts performed on it. By the way, Regent originally sold the truck to her for $7,000 over the book value. If you are a sucker or an idiot avoid this dealer at all cost.
