This dealership is owned by Berkshire Hathaway, and so is their warranty company, so this place is used solely to push their protection plans down your throat. I will say, that our salesman, Nathanael, was great to deal with. Very friendly and professional, and made this stage of the process as easy as possible. If you do decide to roll the dice on this dealership, definitely ask for Nathanael. Unfortunately this isn't where our experience ended. We then had the pleasure of dealing with the "business manager" Darell Biri. This guy managed to completely ruin the excitement of buying a new car. First, we were informed several times that we were being recorded in his office, which wouldn't be a huge deal but then a couple of minutes in I was asked to say my social security number and birth date out loud, this can't be an acceptable practice. Then comes the protection plan sales pitch. After being read the riot act for 10 minutes of what all can fail on a car and why a factory warranty (which the truck still had) is worthless, he then begins to try and sell me on this miracle protection plan which covers everything under the moon, for a small price of $100 more a month. After about another 10 minutes of his pitch, I informed him that I fully understand if he has to present this to me (because we are on camera), but I'm not interested in a protection plan. His demeanor totally changed at this point and he became extremely aggressive. After telling this guy no for the 6th or 7th time, my wife finally stepped in and told him that it was in his best interest to move on to the next step of paperwork. He dismissed my wife and continued trying to intimidate me into buying his miracle protection plan. He even threw his hands up in the air and said "what am I missing here"? I quit talking at this point I was so frustrated. I let him finish his 20 minute speech about why I'm crazy for not getting a warranty from him, signed my paperwork, and left as quickly as possible. I would never buy another vehicle from this dealership, nor would I recommend anyone go through what I did to buy a vehicle. It's guys like Darell Biri that make people hate dealing with dealerships, and he's about the scummiest guy I've ever dealt with in the 40+ cars that I've purchased. More
Don't waste your time or money here! Drove 100 miles to look at a used truck yesterday, truck was close to the condition as described, but not exactly. Test, drove and liked the truck, had them appraise my truck, which I felt was a bit low, but which dealership isn't. I wanted a ballpark on payments, and told them my credit will be over a 750, they said they couldn't, just gave a general rate to base it off of 7.99%. So, I agree to fill out a credit app, because I know my credit and have a general idea what it is, score was over well over what I had estimated, so they come back with the exact same 7.99% as quoted before, I filled out the app. I ask what's the deal, why don't you have a better idea on what my rate will be, 7.99% is 5% higher than anything I have financed. He proceeded to tell me it usually goes down when you go to the back and fill out the finance paperwork. I'm very confused as this point, I've bought 3 trucks and 1 new SUV over the past 5 years, every time, you fill out the app, they get the rates and payments figured, before I go fill out finance paperwork, but apparently not here. At this point I've almost spent 2 hrs here and I need to leave, they tell me they'll get the rates and payments figured and call me, this is at noon. I wait all day, hear nothing, wait another half a day. So, I check their inventory online, only to find out they sold the truck out from under me, without, so much as phone call or text messages, to give me a chance to purchase the truck. I'm not mad about the 100 mile drive, that was my choice, but having my credit pulled for no reason, wasting 2hrs of my time at the dealership, and never being offered a chance to buy the truck, really makes my blood boil. I figured since I couldn't even get a courtesy phone call, I will post my review to any and every online review option, that is available. So, I can to try a keep a few more people away from this dealership . More
