They will try to rip you off of their bogus multi inspections. They will make up anything that something have to be fix on your car. The people there was in that bogus Inspections repair. I brought my car for recall, but when I got it back I notice that nothing was done on the recall. Instead they are focused on ripping you off than doing the the recall issue and it was a safety issue More
I am extremely unhappy and unsatisfied with the service that I received at this dealership. I purchased a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder from a private owner in December, 2021. The only thing noticeably wrong with that I received at this dealership. I purchased a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder from a private owner in December, 2021. The only thing noticeably wrong with the car at the time is that it had an oil leak. I decided to take it to Riverside Nissan because I believed that the dealer would know the car and provide full inspection and evaluation of the vehicle. At first they verified that the car did have an oil leak and quoted a price for full repair. They also fixed the door handle an did an oil change. When I went to pick it up I was told that there the mechanic checked the lines and found that there was no leak. I drove the car away thinking that I dodged the problem. Unfortunately, it turned out that the car did in fact have a leak. I took it back to them in April, 2022. The leak was from the transmission line which had a recall at the time. They told me that the fixed the line and quoted over 2,600.00 worth of repairs that needed to be made. I was very confused because I took the car to them just four months earlier and put very little mileage on it during that time. I went ahead and approved the work because I wanted to get the problem resolved. Two days after picking up the car I notice that it was still leaking from the transmission line. I took it back to them and was told that I needed a new radiator to fix the problem. They want to charge another $850.00 dollars so something that turned out to be unnecessary. After paying them over $3,000.00 between December, and April/May they tried swindle me for even more money and I still had the same problem that I originally went to them for in December. It was very frustrating. Nissan refused to work with me to resolve the problem. I ended up taking the car to a transmission specialist in New York who was able to fix the leak in less than half an hour for $100.00 including the transmission fluid. The mechanic there noticed that the Nissan mechanic used the wrong clamp and actually used utility tape to secure a transmission line. I was told that my transmission would have failed had I driven the car an further. I contacted Nissan Riverside and asked to speak to a manager yesterday. I spoke to someone who would only identify herself and Kat. No last name was provided. She told me that she would report the issue to upper management and someone would get back to me the same day. It is almost two days later and I have heard noting from them. I will be referring this matter to the better business bureau as my life was literally put a risk because of their incompetence and greed. I will never take my car back to this dealership for service and will not recommend them to anyone. More
While traveling from Long Island to PA for a long overdue visit with family my transmission went on the span of the GWB. However, the folks at Riverside Nissan, specifically Rachel, helped turn this horrif visit with family my transmission went on the span of the GWB. However, the folks at Riverside Nissan, specifically Rachel, helped turn this horrifying experience into a wonderful reunion with cousins who I hadn't seen since pre-Covid. Thank you Rachel and the other staff members who had a hand in allowing us to continue on with our road trip and not allow something as serious as a transmission repair/replacement to create not even the tiniest blip in our plans.
