Very quick, knowledgable, and competent service department. I started going to Rod Hatfield after the service center closer to me gave me the run around on a warranty issue. I brought both of my Dodge Journeys in for oil changes one on 7/14 and the other on 7/15. I was using a coupon on the first one for two full synthetic oil changes for $130.00 and had a previous coupon of one on 7/14 and the other on 7/15. I was using a coupon on the first one for two full synthetic oil changes for $130.00 and had a previous coupon of file for the second Journey for the same deal. When paying for the second Journey the total was more than the first oil change the day before, and I questioned why as both had the same deal of 2 FULL SYNTHETIC oil changes. Upon reviewing the work order, the service clerk informed me that I did not get SYNTHETIC oil change it was the recommended 5W20 and additionally I have not received SYNTHETIC oil in the Journey the day before. He did not like that I questioned the charge and arrogantly informed me that he would not put synthetic oil in any of vehicle of his. I was pi**ed, and asked what the point of the coupon and whey they didn't advise me of this before taking my service order??? He asked me where I wanted the price to be and I just said same as yesterday's; when I should have said it needed to be free since neither of my automobiles received the service I requested. I had chosen to use the local dealer for service as they are closer for me than to travel to Freedom Dodge in Lexington for routine service, but I will not be back to Hatfield's. Freedom will get my business purchase and service, from now on. More

A 2. 5 hour process turned into almost 5 hours. A vehicle that has been brought in at least 3 times for a problem since we bought it 18 months ago, you tr 5 hour process turned into almost 5 hours. A vehicle that has been brought in at least 3 times for a problem since we bought it 18 months ago, you tried to charge us.. Not going to pay for a service that is covered under the warranty. Turned out this didn’t fix the problem. Not a problem anymore. Went to another dealership and traded it on for a new one. More

I was disappointed with the service, due to the fact they should have told me what the problem was and not let me sit for 2 hours with no communication at all. I had my 75 year old mother in law with me at t should have told me what the problem was and not let me sit for 2 hours with no communication at all. I have never had this issue before and I know thing last come up but communication is to key to good service.. More
