I contacted Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Boston last week to schedule routine maintenance for my 2006 Rolls-Royce Phantom. My nearest dealer is about 100 miles away, so during my first call I asked about transp schedule routine maintenance for my 2006 Rolls-Royce Phantom. The representative I spoke with, Amanda, offered to check with management to see if a complimentary pickup was possible and would get back to me by the end of the day. I did not receive a return call. Over the next several days, I left multiple messages and made follow-up calls. When I reached her again, she did not remember our previous conversation at first, and after I refreshed her memory, she said the vehicle was too old for a courtesy pickup. I then asked for a quote for a paid pickup service. She told me she would speak with management and call me back that day. Again, I received no call. I made one more attempt and left another message, but as of today, I still have not received a return call. I am disappointed with the lack of follow-through and communication, especially given the expectations that typically accompany the Rolls-Royce name. I hope the dealership will review this experience and improve responsiveness for future customers. More
Service was a simple swap, taking off the summer wheels and tires and replacing them with the winter set. I also asked that they balance the winter set prior to installation. I was able to schedule the appointment for the exact date and time I wanted. It took about as long as expected. The one thing I could suggest would be to have power available in the customer waiting areas. There are several spots available for waiting (among some VERY cool cars!), but none of them have power readily available to keep my laptop charged so I can work while I'm waiting. More
I brought my 1977 Rolls Royce in for post winter oil change and inspection for any operating defects so I can have trouble free driving in the good weather months. Upon review of the condition of my car Gator called me to review their findings and cost estimates and get my approval for the selected work. The work was completed promply, completely and for the stated price. An additonal previously undiscovered minor fuel leak was repaired at no additional cost. Due to local flooding, I was unable to pick the car up as expected and as an accomadation for me, the car was kept in the garage until I was able to pick it up. Gary is the main mechanic who directs work on my car and I have been always impressed with his knowledge and have followed his recommendations with much success and no driving failures. Both Gator and Gary get my highest compliments on their professionalism, coutesy, honesty and competence. More
