Long story short I took the Highlander to a reputable local mechanic and I paying a third of the price of what American wanted to charge me. I had my radiator replaced just two months ago and the technician at American wanted to charge me $223.00 without even looking under the hood nor did he uncap the radiator to test it. That pretty much told me everything I needed to about American Toyota ( We’ll have you pay something that you don’t even need). Thanks but no thanks American Toyota I think I will try Sandia Toyota on Eubank next time. More

He call me back and asked if he could keep the car longer as the mechanic broke the bolts trying to remove the power steering assembly. I agreed to leave my Toyota 4 Runner. I told him since the mechanic they the bolts any further cost would be on them. When I went to pay for my 4Runner I was charged $3050.13. I told him that’s not the quote he gave me. I have a paper where the quote is written. He denied that he ever quoted me $1432. I would avoid working with the advisor David Carr. Harold More

I made an appointment for an oil change for my Tundra a week ago for 0915 and indicated that I would wait at the dealership for the vehicle. When I arrived, I was told that what I made was not an appointment but it was a "drop off" time and it would be up to 4 hours until my vehicle would be ready. In the past, I may have waited an hour and 30 minutes, but no more than that. I checked on the vehicle after two hours and it was still parked outside. They told me I was next and a short time later moved the vehicle inside. It took two more hours to complete the oil change and my vehicle was finally ready after four hours and twenty minutes. Mind you this was with an appointment! I will no longer give my business to Sandia Toyota as they have demonstrated that customers and good customer service are no longer a priority for them. More

They over charged me by the hundreds according to a certified tech at "Power Ford." That made sense to me when I remember the service man (on July 5th 2024) telling me that it was going to cost me over a thousand just for labor, but when I said that the part was very accessible and easy to get to, he lowered the labor by $600 dollars, nevertheless I still ended up paying $1400 for labor alone. So why not from the very beginning? More
