Promises, promises I received an email from Schumacher re a recall for my Subaru Forrester. I made an appointment as directed and received 2 text messages confirming a 9 am appointment on March 3. I had called on March 2nd asking for time of the service and was told 4-5 hours. I live 60 miles away in Port St Lucie and left at 7:30 am to make sure I would be at Schumacher by 9. At 8:10 am I received a call in the car telling me not to bother coming in for the recall. The service manager discovered that there were no parts available. I presume he checks for parts needed an hour before needed! Waste of time. More

Someone came right over to assist my husband and I, telling us where to park car and direct us to waiting area. Rhonnie called us in to her office to complete paperwork. She explained that it would take approximately 3 and a half hours. We hadn't had anything to eat yet, and gave us the name of a diner in the area. She told us an Uber driver would pick us up shortly and bring us. Once we had a enjoying meal, we called her when ready to return to Service Department. She told us our car would be ready in approximately 20 minutes and Uber would be there shortly to drive us back. Very pleased to hear we had only dropped our car off little over an hour earlier. Great teamwork observed from the time we arrived and were road again. Thank you Rhonnie and the rest of your team for a pleasant experience at Shumacher Subaru. More
