Horrible customer service, avoid at all costs! We purchased a used vehicle from Schumacher Volvo of the Palm Beaches in February 2015. The vehicle was as expected, but our interactions with the sta We purchased a used vehicle from Schumacher Volvo of the Palm Beaches in February 2015. The vehicle was as expected, but our interactions with the staff left much to be desired. In the paperwork we signed with the purchase, there were multiple clerical errors, from the specific details of the vehicle we were buying to the cost. Not surprisingly, all the accounting errors were in Schumacher’s favor. Multiple hidden costs were added to our total. The staff acted surprised that we actually read all the forms and told us not to worry about things that were left blank and would be filled in after we signed. We are not Florida residents but Schumacher said it would be easy to get the plates and registration for us in our home state. For this service, they charged $487. After two months, our second temporary tag had expired and we had received no title nor permanent plates. In the weeks leading up to this, we attempted to contact Schumacher numerous times and never received a return call. Resolution only began when we filed a formal complaint with FLHSMV. Only then did Schumacher return our contact attempts. Eighty days after purchase, we received our Oregon plates and registration. One hundred days after purchase, we received the title. These time lines broke Florida and Oregon laws. When we submitted our complaint through BBB, Schumacher did not respond. More

When he called me back, the deal he offered was barely the equal of what I was quoted the day before. I stuck to my gun and he said he would check with management. He called me back and said they would meet my request, and I went and purchased the car the next day. More
