I was so happy to purchase my 2015 Kia Sorento. At the time Tim said he would fix the ac. After 3 trips he said he replaced the compressor which did not fix the problem. Took it to a Kia dealer and they tested it for 225.00 only yo tell me the compressor had not been replaced. Which after a conversation he did replace it. 3 months later and another 1700 I had to replace brakes rotors ball joints control arms both upper and lower front both sides. Then in June the motor locked. I called him and he told me there was no warranty on the car. I took it to a Kia and they replaced the motor totally due to the fact the motors were recalled and had a lifetime warranty. I called Mr Scott to ask for a bill of sale copy so I could give to Kia which he said he would for 100.00. I ended up going to the court house to get it for free. Now today I sit at the Kia dealership again with a faulty transmission. It bothered me because when I called Mr scott for the bill of sale he didn't even say he was sorry to hear about the motor or any of the other mechanical issues with this vehicle. So much for earning my trust and I am so disappointed that I trusted this used car dealer. More
Using the computer, was looking for a low mileage Town and Country van and Scott Family Motors had one. Problem, I lived in Minnesota and was nearly 3 hours away, one way. Was it worth the drive? The van was clean, the body had no rust and the price was right and got a warranty too. Tim was very accommodating and made the purchase process easy. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. More
Was looking at Chevy Traverse for carrying the kids around to various activities. This dealer Timmy don't care about any kind of good service. We drove 3 hours for a Jeep Liberty. They were amazing. Tim Scott held the Jeep for us until we arrived. I was looking for a suv and couldn't find a good one for the price I was looking for and Then scott's jump up on a suv they lowered the price on the computer..I called and asked to see it they set up and ap the price I was looking for and Then scott's jump up on a suv they lowered the price on the computer..I called and asked to see it they set up and appointment.( They do the appointment because they are small and they want to make time to give there all,no interruptions like other dealers.They go through the car and show you it and test drive with you to show you are getting what you want.This suv was in great condition and had a few items replaced before looking at it which made it a better deal.They gave a warranty on the suv for 30 days which was good and gave me a piece of mind knowing if its a bad suv it would break and get fixed.But this suv was in excellent shape like all the cars i seen on his lot.I have had the car i while now and no problems and i would go back there for my next vehicle. More

My husband is looking for a car/ suv and he decided to try Scott family motors.He drove to Springville from Anamosa and i must say it was a total waste of time and gas! He was asked if he had appt.( like he was some psychic) and was supposed to know this...and rudely ignored.The guy walked right passed him like he didn't have the time of day for him! So glad you and yours showed your " TRUE COLORS"up front because i could not imagine buying a vehicle from this family run business and having to deal with them if the vehicle had problems!
