Where do I even begin to describe this dumpster fire of an experience? It was time to find my mother a new (used) car. She found one she liked at Sewell Infiniti. The Sewell name right off the bat is suppo an experience? It was time to find my mother a new (used) car. She found one she liked at Sewell Infiniti. The Sewell name right off the bat is supposed to exude excellence in every category of the car buying experience and that is exactly what we got from our salesperson Thalen. The bottled waters, the informative test drive and the patience with my 70 year old mother. She walked in with an approval in hand from Capital One and a possible paid off trade in. After agreeing on the price EVERYTHING went downhill as soon as the paper work started and the skinny blonde ABERCROMBIE and FITCH wannabe model that was a manager walked into the picture. His vibe, arrogance and holier than thou attitude completely ruined all the great service Thalen had given us so far. First he tried to low ball my mother on her trade in. After we didn't bite on his offer he came back with a slightly higher offer which was still ridiculous. We obviously passed on his trade in offer and I said we would do a private party sale instead. Afterwards he asked if we would like to finance through them for a better rate. The blonde manager comes back to tell my mother that her approval is not infact an approval through Capital One and that she was approved through one of their partner credit unions at a lovely 18% interest rate. I could have at that point called Capital One and go through the hassle of trying to figure out what was wrong but I opted to just accept the offer for the 18% rate and i'll just refinance before the first payment hit. Unfortunately he did not like the plan I had for that loan he was trying to trick us into because there is no money for him if I refinance it. Dealers get commissions from banks and credit unions and make big bonuses from them by shaving points when it comes to interest rates however if a customer doesn't keep the loan open for atleast 3 months that commission gets clawed back by whatever bank or credit union they worked with. So to recap, he's made no money off my trade in, would not make any money from shaving points on the finance end so that leaves the one and only in-house product scam. At that point Thalen looked frustrated and upset at the manager trying to blow up his deal. He came out with a product list offering all sorts of products from gap to windshield warranty. After I told him I would not be interested in that the manager finally decided to sabotage this deal all together and said unless my mother produces all her check stubs from work at that moment that there's nothing they can do. I said I would email it to them as soon as I got home. They said no and that they needed them now. I was done, had no more patience left in tank and while this manager stood their trying to explain all this nonsense to us I decided to kindly tell my mother to get up and said lets go. My mother then made eye contact with this blonde manager as we were walking out and he had a huge grin and smirk on his face and sarcastically waved and said goodbye to her. I've dealt with numerous car dealers in the past and there are plenty of bad experiences I could share but to treat a 70 year old woman this way goes beyond the pale. My mother woke up this morning and contacted Capital One and after speaking with them they CONFIRMED that her approval WAS an approval and that what we were told was a complete pile of s***. If you like being treated like garbage then by all means and take the red carpet straight into Sewell Infiniti of Dallas. More

I took my car in for an oil change and service. I also requested a state inspection. I was greeted and treated with respect and courtesy. I was comfortable waiting there and chose to stay. They were very quick and kind. . More
