Called in reference to a recall on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was treated very poorly by the service writer who immediately lost my trust by suggesting that my vehicle may need more work than just th Cherokee. I was treated very poorly by the service writer who immediately lost my trust by suggesting that my vehicle may need more work than just the recall without even looking at it first. That was a big red flag for me. Next I spoke to the Service manager Evan who was patronizing and belittling and basically just wanted to win the argument and take his buddy's back. He basically told me that they don't make much off recalls and really didn't seem to care if I got it done there or not. He even offered to give me the number of another dealer. I then asked to speak with the General Manager. Evan flat refused as he felt it was not a big enough issue and I evidently wasn't important enough to talk to the GM. There's more to it, but the gist of things is that if you only need a recall done, they don't seem to care too much. If you call them out on it, they are very thinned skinned and quickly become unprofessional and confrontational. I am not sure what level customer you have to be to speak to the apparently High and Mighty GM . Obviously, you must be much more important than just an average service customer looking to get a recall done. More
