I live three miles from a different Hyundai dealership, but my experiences with them have been bad. I will gladly drive 15 miles to Shottenkirk Hyundai to get my car serviced. first and last. I was not happy with the service Dept. I had a issue with the warning light for a rear brake light. Turns out that I had a wrong replacement bulb in I was not happy with the service Dept. I had a issue with the warning light for a rear brake light. Turns out that I had a wrong replacement bulb in the light. The technician first ran a diagnostic and could not find any wrong issue. Bulb, harness, checked out fine. Long story short it turned out the bulb from Auto zone was wrong. My 2019 Santa Fe has 48k miles. I was informed that it was not covered under warranty and I had to purchase the bulb. ( $3.48 ). I was not happy about having to buy the bulb, but Ok. The kicker was if I wanted to have it installed I would have to pay the service fee, are you kidding me? We are talking about removing 2 screws and putting the bulb in. I would think the dealership would have just had a tech install it and keep the customer happy, you know P.R goes along way, its just a bulb. Instead I had to install it in the parking lot. I will, not ever use this dealership again period! We are happy with our Hyundai. I own a Tuscon, my wife has the Santa Fe. We were thinking of downsizing to one car, a new Hyundai but that is not going to happen. I think I'll look at a Subaru. All over a bulb, shame on your service Dept. More
