Checked the internet and found a VW New Beetle on the website for $6500.00 Called and spoke with a salesman who stated the car was still there and available for purhase. Called the salesman on his cell website for $6500.00 Called and spoke with a salesman who stated the car was still there and available for purhase. Called the salesman on his cell phone requesting a call back to verify info while on the way to the dealership( 45 minutes from where I was) and got his voicemail --- requested a call back that never came. When I arrived at the dealership , asked about the VW since it was not obvious on the car lot. Another salesman stated "Oh - I sold that 2 weeks ago." Verified it was the Harvery Wheat VW with leather interior and 17" alloy wheels. The new salesman states : Yeah - I sold that myself 2 weeks ago.... its been gone" At this point saleman #1 comes up and says he was mistaken but there was PLENTY of other used care for me to see. Amazingly ( insert sarcasm) , all were twice what the VW was priced at. ughhhhhh...... More
