Avoid this store if purchasing - will add over $1000 in unwanted extras and never even install them. Very bad experiences!! Cars are delivered without detailing and frequently very dirty. Required servi unwanted extras and never even install them. Very bad experiences!! Cars are delivered without detailing and frequently very dirty. Required service not accomplished. I faced over $1500 in repairs a week after the purchase and they would not repair. I had to go to a Ford dealer to stop transmission and front-end leaks. South Pointe is a sorry excuse for a CDJR store and management is lacking. More
Jake Western did a tremendous job dealing with me online and then face to face when I arrived in Tulsa from Omaha. In addition to Jake….the completion of the sale and overall follow up has been exceptional and then face to face when I arrived in Tulsa from Omaha. I scheduled an appointment online and showed up at the appointed time for an oil change. When I went inside to to check in, there were 6 service advisers or others in front of their computers and no one a appointed time for an oil change. When I went inside to to check in, there were 6 service advisers or others in front of their computers and no one acknowledged my presence for several minutes. When someone finally did they advised me that the wait would be up to 2 hours for the oil change. This was despite the fact that I had booked an online appointment for a specific time and had the vehicle parked in their so-called express lane. I came home and then tried to call back to see about scheduling at a time that was more predictable and convenient. After several attempts the service department never answered the phone. Needless to say I will never do business with this dealership again. I simply went to one of the local oil change facilities in town and was in-and-out in 15 minutes without an appointment. More

This message is to notify you, I, nor anyone I know, or anyone I have contact with, will every do business with South Point Dodge any further. I have had my 3500 ram into the service department several ti anyone I have contact with, will every do business with South Point Dodge any further. I have had my 3500 ram into the service department several times for a whining noise seemingly connected to turning and the power steering, only to be told " we can't duplicate the noise" or "that is normal for those trucks" time after time, and nothing was even done to check-out, and or, to find a resolve to the noise. I can tell you, I have better things to do, than to take time to bring my truck to service facility to be checked for no reason! something was wrong. Well, fast forward to yesterday, when we took the truck to another Dodge dealer to examine the power steering system. SURPISE !!! they found the power steering pump had been failing for a while, and filled the power system with metal shavings, to the point of, they would not let us leave with truck, fearing a failure while driving. Now, the entire power steering system must be replaced!!! This infuriates me to the core, that South Point Dodge had no concern for me with this issue, or my driving family members. Your people put my family in harm’s way, by releasing a large truck like this, that would be operated a lot of the times at highway speeds with a steering malfunction, and a potential catastrophic failure that could happen at any time; not mention the expensive cost of replacing the entire system! Your service department is a disgrace! I would suggest you make a change in how you do business, here's a thought, listen to your customers! this probably could have been resolved early on, if your people would have just listened, and made the effort to figure it out. Thankfully another service department kept someone from getting hurt, and you out of a lawsuit! Rest assured, you can remove my name, and my vehicle, from your records, because I will never be back. Brought my 2020 Ram (35k miles and running perfectly) in for routine, scheduled maintenance and South Pointe CJDR managed to put it out of commission for about a month. They failed to secure the fill plug t for routine, scheduled maintenance and South Pointe CJDR managed to put it out of commission for about a month. They failed to secure the fill plug to the rear differential, all the fluid drained, and i had metal grinding against metal. They charged me $500+ for their trouble. To their credit, they set me up with a rental car and they did fix the issue. Hence, the 1-star rating rather than 0. However, they billed Ram $1800+ for the damage that they caused. Seems unethical. This was not due to defective parts. This was due to their own oversight and/or ineptitude - a company shouldn’t profit from either in my opinion. The customer service leaves something to be desired. After 3 weeks of hearing nothing i called them to see if they had diagnosed or begun the repair. They didn’t me call back, but responded with all caps texts messages. In person they’re too busy to look up from their computer screens and make eye contact. No summary of the work done was given, other than “your truck is ready,” and the service advisor became impatient when i wanted to read the work order before i signed it. I won’t be back and recommend you take your vehicle elsewhere for service. More
I would AVOID this place like the plague. I had the most terrible experience from this service department. I brought my car in Friday November 12th. I was told that they did not have any loner cars availabl terrible experience from this service department. I brought my car in Friday November 12th. I was told that they did not have any loner cars available and that a rental would only be covered while my car was being serviced (not just sitting) understandable.. 5 days go by with no update. My husband called and was told my car was diagnosed but that the part needed was on a 3-6 MONTH back order… extremely frustrated how I am supposed to go that long with out a car. But again not entirely the service depts fault ( being frustrated and understanding is difficult) I at this point had reached out to Nate several times via the text he originally sent me, never once did he respond. I called up there to see if something anything could be done to get this part! Nate was not friendly or compassionate that I would be without a car but assured me I was on the top of the list when the part was available.. week 2 goes by.. I impatiently have to get my car back. So I decide to start calling dodge dealers in my surrounding area the second dealer I spoke to said “to save you the trouble of calling all these places my system (dodge) shows that this part is available in Arkansas” he kindly gave me the number and low and behold 4 hours away is the part needed for my car! The gentleman I spoke to was so helpful and ensured me he would get the part mailed out and sent to south point!! Why was this not done by south point!? They were so inconsiderate and didn’t do the most basic of tasks, a phone call to get me my car fixed in a timely matter. If I wouldn’t have thought to call other dodge dealers to find this part my car would have sat there for months when it didn’t need to. I highly suggest taking your car to a dealer who values customers service and customers time. I didn’t get my car until today November 30th. No rental or loner car was ever available even when my car was being worked on.. disappointing to say the least.. More
Just don't do it. They have "fixed" the same issue three times and problem still exists and can not guarantee when you drop off when they can even look at it and do not have loaner vehicles. This is one of times and problem still exists and can not guarantee when you drop off when they can even look at it and do not have loaner vehicles. This is one of multiple issues I have had with the service department, but I tried to give them a chance. No more. They have lost all business and respect from me. Manager is never around and does not try to help. Just go somewhere else, save yourself some time and frustration. I guess they forget sales are linked to service. Can buy a vehicle from anywhere for the same price but after the sale is what matters. More
Excellent!! The end of April 2021 I ordered a new Jeep from South Pointe CJDR working with Chris Stinson and Jack Wilson at that time. They were both very kind and most helpful, clearly making sure that from South Pointe CJDR working with Chris Stinson and Jack Wilson at that time. They were both very kind and most helpful, clearly making sure that what I wanted was ordered and making the deal work for myself and the dealership. The waiting began as we were unsure of when the vehicle would actually be built, shipped, and delivered with the supply change shortages that were an ongoing issue. As time went by I would often stop in and check with Chris, Jack, or Joe Calistro and they each were always willing to provide me with an update. Needless to say my anticipation grew as time went by but the vehicle finally arrived about a week ago. Joe notified me immediately sending me a picture of it still sitting on the carrier :) The staff and team at South Pointe went to work making sure everything was right, getting it detailed and they had it ready for delivery to me the same evening. Even though the wait time for my Jeep was longer than anticipated and more than any of us expected or wanted, this was beyond the control of the dealership. I get it, however, throughout the process; Chris, Joe, Jack, and others were always most helpful and gracious. Thank you all for making my car buying experience with South Pointe CJDR excellent! More
I will just state the facts and try and save opinions for the end Monday 09/25 6:28 PM called inquiring about an alignment on my Jeep. Spoke to someone in the service department. I didn’t get his name how the end Monday 09/25 6:28 PM called inquiring about an alignment on my Jeep. Spoke to someone in the service department. I didn’t get his name however he told me to bring it by the next day at 7am as it would be first come first serve. Tuesday 09/26 7:05 AM arrived to check in my vehicle. Walked into the service advisor area where there was a single advisor working on his computer. He stated it would be a minute and someone would help. Frank came out of his office and checked me in asking what I needed. I stated I needed an alignment and I had a coupon from the value news. The coupon was for a 4 wheel alignment. He took my information and asked if I wanted to wait or if I will be back to pick it up. I stated I would be back around 530 to pickup and he said no problem it will be ready in a couple hours. Tuesday 09/26 7:41 AM got a text from Baleigh stating to let her know if I needed anything to let her know. Tuesday 09/26 1:58 PM since I hadn’t received a call or anything I followed up with her asking about the status to ensure it would be ready at 5 as promised Tuesday 09/26 3:57 PM she texted back stating that they were busy and asked for it to be left for the next day as they had not gotten to it yet Tuesday 09/26 4:01 PM I responded back that was not what I was told when it was dropped off and that would be done that day by Frank Tuesday 09/26 5:12 PM I received a call from Baleigh stating my Jeep was ready for pickup. That they got the alignment done but when I picked it up they would be asking about a date to schedule recall work Tuesday 09/26 5:50 PM Went in to pick up my jeep. I didn’t catch the name of the man that checked me out however he was working at the second or third station farthest from the door. He gave me my invoice as well as charged my card for the work performed. Nothing was mentioned about findings or getting the recall work done. I had to ask for a copy of the alignment results. He went out backed my jeep out of the garage and drove it up front for me as here was another vehicle blocking the way. Tuesday 09/26 5:55 PM I left the service center and pulled out onto the main road and turned back around as at the next driveway with a steering wheel that is about 20 degrees off from being straight. I walked back into the service center where Mason and Cliff were sitting. Cliff looked surprised to see me back so quickly and the man that checked me out asked if everything was ok. In front of all three of them I stated that the steering wheel wasn’t straight. No one got up to address or even offer to come out side and view the issue for themselves. I was only told “sorry but there is no one here to fix it I would have to bring it back the next day” to which I responded “I know there are only two things to adjust my wrangler 1. Toe 2. steering wheel as caster and camber are not adjustable in the stock configuration and wanted to know how they didn’t do 1 of the two things they could do. That steering wheel correction is part of the alignment process” he stated he understood but didn’t know what happened. Tuesday 09/26 6:00 PM sent Baleigh a text stating the work was unacceptable and sent a picture of the wheel misalignment. Wednesday 09/27 11:21 am Texted her again stating I thought I would have heard something back from them by then regarding the incomplete work and the scheduling of the recall. Wednesday 09/27 11:29 AM received a text asking me to bring it back for correction. And this is where we stand. Now for the opinion portion. We have been involved in the local jeep community for the past 6 years and unfortunately I have not heard positive experiences about this service department on more detailed services and shame on me for thinking an alignment this simple would be hard to mess up. I will echo this review to the local community we are involved with to steer them away from issues regarding simple repairs. There are other dealers in the area and there are some great ones but I was not able to make it to Owasso to have this simple job done. I really had hoped those opinions were wrong and I could use South Point for services but due to this I find my self doubting the competency of anyone I encountered in the process. I would have thought that as a service advisor assigned to a vehicle being customer facing that Baleigh would have ensured since we had already had some issues that the work was completed and proper. I would have thought as a technician putting their name on a work order they would have ensured it was proper and correct before saying the work was complete. I would have thought that as a service manager Cliff would have at least gotten off his stool to address the situation in his department and not allowing me to walk out obviously not satisfied. They have my name number and complaint and as of this review no additional calls or attempts to rectify the situation. After reviewing the results I was given there they only provided “current” values. I have no idea if these values were before or after adjustment as only one was provided. This makes me question if any work was done as in looking under the vehicle it isn’t obvious that there are any tool or hand marks in the components that would need adjustment ie. The tie rod adjuster and drag link. More
