I had an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience with Southfork Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Manvel, TX. @southforkdodge, #southforkdodge My car remained in their shop for an excess of 4 m experience with Southfork Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Manvel, TX. @southforkdodge, #southforkdodge My car remained in their shop for an excess of 4 months (19 weeks) due to damage they caused by their negligence and poor workmanship —which they admitted to— During that time, I had to fight for a rental after they had my Jeep for 2 months. I only had the rental 3 weeks and had to cover a significant portion of the rental costs myself. Even after turning in the rental after 3 weeks, I remained without a vehicle for another 2 months (10 weeks). Although the dealership eventually agreed to cover the cost of the initial repairs, the entire experience was a mess—poorly managed, unnecessarily drawn out, and frankly inexcusable. To make matters worse, after finally completing those repairs, they “discovered” a new issue with the power steering—something that was not a problem when I brought the car in—and are now expecting me to pay for that repair. Throughout this ordeal, I dealt with the Senior Service Advisor, Ron Gayden, Jr. and his Service Manager, Glenn Holloway—individuals whose handling of the situation made an already difficult experience even more unpleasant. The issue traces back to an engine replacement they performed just one year earlier. During that repair, damage occurred as a result of their negligence and poor workmanship. When my vehicle began having problems again, I returned it for service, and they claimed the issue was resolved. At that time, the Senior Service Advisor, Ron Gayden, asked me to pay for the repair in cash—$600, which I paid directly to him. I purchased my vehicle from this dealership in 2018 and have brought it here consistently for all required service. That history is well documented. I upheld my end as a loyal customer, but when it truly mattered, they failed to uphold theirs. This dealership is owned by Foundation Automotive Corp, @foundation_automotive, a company that publicly claims to care about community values and “doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.” Sadly, my experience was quite the contrary. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and general disregard for the customer were deeply disappointing. I would strongly caution anyone against trusting this dealership—or Foundation Automotive Corp—with their vehicle. More
