My apologies, seems the beginning of my Review didn't appear on 18 May 2025 so: Sport City has serviced my vehicle prior to 2017. In 2017, purchased a vehicle and they serviced that one until it was (n appear on 18 May 2025 so: Sport City has serviced my vehicle prior to 2017. In 2017, purchased a vehicle and they serviced that one until it was (not my fault) totaled. That sale and service department was/is EXCEPTIONAL!!! PLEASE NOTE NOT SEEKING/WANTING A RESPONSE FROM SPORT CITY. ONLY WANT INFO TO ASSIST SOMEONE IN MAKING AN INFORMED DECISION PRIOR TO MAKING A PURCHASE. SPORT CITY HAD SUFFICIENT TIME TO CORRECT THE ISSUE AS TAUREAN ("TYRAN") FORTSON WAS INFORMED 22 APRIL BY MYSELF THAT I DECLINED THE VEHICLE AND YET HE/SPORT CITY TOYOTA DALLAS PUT THE PAPERWORK THROUGH WITH ME RECEIVING LOAN DOCUMENTS DATED 30 APRIL FIRST WEEK IN MAY. SENT EMAIL 08 MAY* TO LITHIA CARES, JEFFREY RUSHING AND GARY G WITH MY EXPERIENCE TIMELINE, ASKING THEIR ASSISTANCE IN PROMPTLY GETTING THE "AUTO UNWIND" DOCUMENTS TO DRIVEWAY AS AGENT AT DRIVEWAY STATED THEY HADN'T RECEIVED THE "AUTO UNWIND" PAPERWORK. SEEMS ISSUES ARE IGNORED UNTIL A COMPLAINT IS MADE AND THEN SOMEONE WANTS TO TALK/GET INVOLVED/ACT CONCERNED. 09 MAY* RECEIVED RESPONSE: "Hello, I have viewed your case. Corporate will not be able to assist you further at this time... Here's my HORRIBLE experience with Taurean-he was referred to me so contacted him. His customer service skills weren't up to par, however, my concern was to obtain a vehicle and Sport City was my 1st choice THEN. He was "anxious", as sent 2 texts 19 April AFTER me informing him I had something scheduled that am and would contact him AFTER I was done. His "these cars sell really fast" "I know..." messages were annoying after me informing him I'd call.him. Immediately, after I called him, calmly saying, "Hey, understand your hustle, but believe I said I'd call you. Your text messages were interrupting.." Him: "I'm a Tech. I was just helping out". The website indicated he was a Salesman AND he was a referral. He didn't inform me everything about the vehicle-a crack in the front; windshield wiper torn and hanging. When asked about it, "it's okay, that part won't touch the windshield", he stated. Fast forward (I have situation documented). Made down payment 21 April. Contacted him to ask if mats were included or separate. He stated he'd check and if not they'd be separate. I sent him the link he'd sent me for the vehicle and listed the page that showed the mats in the trunk. He didn't respond. 22 April contacted him to let him know I declined the vehicle and barely finished the last word before he became IgnoRANTLY irate, "DON'T YOU LET THOSE PEOPLE TALK YOU INTO BUYING A VEHICLE THEN YOU'LL HAVE 2 VEHICLES TO PAY FOR!!!" I put him on speakerphone so that dealership heard his ranting. All attempts to speak were overridden by Tyran. He calmed slightly whe I told him, I've not taken the vehicle, then began his ranting. I disconnected the call. Made a purchase at another dealership who has IMPECCABLE service-very helpful, pleasant AND KNOWLEDGEABLE if the vehicle. Tyran/Finance should've shredded the paperwork, but instead INTENTIONALLY sent paperwork over to Driveway Finance. I received Loan Documents that were dated 30 April, the first week in May. Credit alerts 06 May AND 07 May indicated the loan hit my credit reports. AGAIN, NONE OF THIS SHOULD'VE HAPPENED. Tyran indicated I want to be careful because dealerships pulling my credit could make it difficult for me to get a loan. Guess he was speaking of himself. I'll never return for a vehicle nor give any referrals. More
Continuation of previous review regarding Sport City Toyota Dallas, Texas with Taurean("Tyran") Fortson and Erik Flores, Sales Manager. Upon the notications that the non purchase (can classify as "F Toyota Dallas, Texas with Taurean("Tyran") Fortson and Erik Flores, Sales Manager. Upon the notications that the non purchase (can classify as "FRAUD") had hit my credit report, contacted Erik Flores at 6:30am and left a message for callback. He'd contacted me previously as I'd sent a letter of complaint to lithiacares.com. He said he'd wanted to hear my experience and out of the same breath wanted to keep my business and gave me the name of another salesman. It appeared as that was his only priority. Did inform me that it would be an "Auto Unwind". IT NEVER SHOULD'VE BEEN SUBMITTED AS I CONTACTED TYRAN ON 22 APRIL! THE LOAN HIT MY CREDIT REPORTS 06 AND 07 MAY!. I BELIEVE IT WAS INTENTIONALLY DONE AS NO APOLOGY WAS GIVEN AND NO SENSE OF URGENCY from Erik, just pure calmness and wanting to keep my business and any referrals. Contacted Driveway Finance (have been helpful and pleasant each time) and asked if they had the date Sport City sent the info over as it should've cancelled 22 April. The representative confirmed the only date showing was 08 May. A prior call, they indicated Sport City hadn't sent the paperwork over for the Unwind. Received ALERTS from credit bureaus that my SSN AND EMAIL have been compromised on the DARK WEB!!!!! I'm livid, to say the least!!! So hope the behavior displayed hasn't been done to a loved one and they were intimidated/manipulated into making a purchase or damaging their credit to the point they're not able to purchase the necessities because a salesman was upset he didn't make a sale. No one wants to purchase a vehicle only to have repair BILLS cone up for that vehicle. I'm grateful/very thankful I was able to purchase a new vehicle. Hope this review will encourage others to send complaints when they experience bad behavior when attempting to make a purchase. This is wasting my time as again, the paperwork should've NEVER been submitted!!! They just lost a customer and all referrals I may have given them. Thank you for your time! More

12/31/2024 I walked in Sport City Toyota to Purchase a Certified Truck , I requested the sale invoice to review my out the door cost. It was inflated with undocumented fees and Price gouging , If the veh Certified Truck , I requested the sale invoice to review my out the door cost. It was inflated with undocumented fees and Price gouging , If the vehicle is certified why would you charge a certification fee above the value selling price , plus a fee for KAHU gps when , I never requested a KAHU gps Tracker, Sport City Toyota attempted to take advantage of me as a customer. I recommend finding a dealership you can trust not one that violates The Deceptive Trade Practices Act , False advertising, Unconscionable acts, taking advantage of a consumer lack of knowledge and price gouging. Avoid Sport City Toyota – Deceptive Pricing and Shady Tactics Had a terrible experience trying to buy a truck from Sport City Toyota. The truck was listed online for $38,994. I went through their websit Tactics Had a terrible experience trying to buy a truck from Sport City Toyota. The truck was listed online for $38,994. I went through their website, added all my trade-in info, and even made an offer of $37,000 just to see if they’d accept. To my surprise, the salesperson texted me saying they accepted my offer. I double-checked to make sure everything was legit because I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time—mine or theirs. That’s when things got shady. Out of nowhere, the salesperson started texting me from a different number and suddenly added a $2,400 "reconditioning fee" that was never mentioned before. I told them I wasn’t paying that and said I’d come to the dealership to clear it up in person. When I got there, I spoke with the salesperson and their manager. I told them I’d pay the advertised price but wasn’t going to pay those hidden fees. They started making excuses, saying I had to pay more because they supposedly paid more for the truck. If that’s true, why advertise it for less on your website? Then they claimed the truck had been sitting on their lot for over 60 days—like that’s my problem? I even showed them screenshots of the breakdown price from their own website, but they still refused to honor it. In the end, they wouldn’t stick to the advertised price and kept trying to push random fees. This was the most dishonest and frustrating car-buying experience I’ve ever had. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place. They’re not transparent, they don’t honor their prices, and they’ll waste your time with excuses. More
Was pre-qualified for loan, came in car saw online within lender approval parameters being net specifically for that cars Year, milage & Price verification by phone with lender prior to arrival. I specifical lender approval parameters being net specifically for that cars Year, milage & Price verification by phone with lender prior to arrival. I specifically told dealership this and stated not to run my credit with any other lenders by the specific lenders I had pre-qualified with. They did what they wanted ran through multiple times and multiple lenders. A. to scare me to not seek else where B. If I did go elsewhere it would be for not because other dealerships would see the amount of pulls and automatically won't work with you. , they chose a different car I didn't like all but settled on due to numbers matching, only the sells rep misquoted price I knew this even stated this but eventually I signed buyers purchase agreement (not contract). I was told vehicle had to have repairs inspection etc. completed and would be ready tomorrow for pick up, they would send a car to pick me up when it was ready and I could finish the contract the upon pick up, gave my card to hold on file for when it needed to be ran after contract signed, which it was ran immediately without me even saying yes to it. So basically my down payment was paid, i grabbed receipt and buyers purchase agreement and left. Next day no call at all I text said would check in it nothing, next day I text says be ready by midday, midday comes around nothing, evening comes I text says had unexpected repairs be ready 1st thing next day. Next day morning I text says I wanted the car or cancel and I'd be by to pick up my money in cash cause I wasn't willing to wait 5 to 7 refund process when you said you were putting info on file and ran my card instead already so I left it at that. Now the car isn't ready what is going on. The guy says let me check real fast. I don't here from him for hours , I text saying I am on my way to pick up my money or car have one or the other ready upon arrival. He messages and says yes come and there's been a change but I'll like it. I get there he claims car had extension on repairs needed & couldn't be sold. But had other options. The other options were completely useless. However he goes to the back and brings back a car id been looking for for a while but in crappy condition. But price was right, I asked if they're paid it says yes I asked well if so I'd like it electric blue he back tracks says they won't paint the whole thing just the scratches etc. I said that's not what you said initially now you back out. I need it in writing and debts and windshield needs be sound and legal drivable. He says he throw in the maintenance package on them for courtesy and the anti theft as well. Sure whatever I notice none of what we discussed is on the buyers purchase order doc right. I point this out also point out the break down of car price doesn't match what was quoted either , we go and forth blah blah, I opt to hash it out with finance cause at this point the sale rep is obviously shady as heck and the sales manager is just as shady as well and think they are slick Rick jones or some crap by the way No no your not. Finance office , checking numbers this 7k car price shoots up to 24k loan in a matter of mins , I am like um nah bra explain how this possible. They go through numbers everything that was perk or thrown in was negated added as additional cost on the contract. Tell me I was getting a good deal um no where I explained the clear coat that is standard on all vehicles per company policy the company needs to pay as it's their policy not mine I don't need nor want it most especially cause your not painting it the color I want, no new paint job so I gotta get it painted later also same goes for low jack system crap. You said car hadn't even been inspected yet so no of that had been done yet so don't. Per policy it was required for every car. Sales rep & Manager stepped in tried to push numbers again. Still didn't add up. got tired of being BSes and walked. Crappy crappy service, shady ,shady More
Bait and Switch. I hate when I fall for it. We had solid numbers with the salesperson. Even when the I'll be right back stuff started, we had solid numbers. Those pap I hate when I fall for it. We had solid numbers with the salesperson. Even when the I'll be right back stuff started, we had solid numbers. Those papers disappeared when I got to finance. Then when the I'll be right back in finance started, it's a magic show. Numbers changing. Trusting the guy. Boom, you are thinking you left with what you wanted and somehow, they jacked up the price 10K. But I signed. More
Did not explain I was "buying" optional packages, would not have agreed to it if I would have known. They said it was included with the purchase. Put 10k down on a 25k car, didn't tell me I was walking out not have agreed to it if I would have known. They said it was included with the purchase. Put 10k down on a 25k car, didn't tell me I was walking out with a 25k loan. Only one lender offer for 18% apr daily. Instead of informing me and recommending to back out of some of it, they accepted it. Ended up having to sell the car shortly after. I am contacting an attorney as there was a similar case at a neighboring dealership. DO NOT BUY HERE! They are co-artists/scammers More

Take vehicles and sell them even after you put down "good faith money", the managers change the cost of vehicle, the finance dept adds things to total and doesn't go over the details then tells you all the paperwork is on a flash drive for review when only one document is there. And these numbers aren't even the ones which the sales and management quotes. No numbers or costs are given on extra services and when questioned on "why" no one will answer your question. So, if you want this type of service come here. Otherwise find another dealership! Oh, forgot about the great customer service from management where they treat you with abruptness. rudeness and basically boarding on unprofessionalism but some really like this type of service. Great Sales Representative in Dwayne Flowers who tried to do the right thing till management and finance got involved. More
