I have purchased two Tundra's from this dealership. Both went well dealing with the fleet Managers Ed Allen and Jeff Jones. I took my 2024 Tundra in for maintenance today along with recently getting a quote for a tri-fold cover ans asked the service advisor how much for install. He said $400 and over 2 hours because the had to calibrate a module. He became irritated over the phone because I was asking about the so called module. So when I went in today I happened to ask another derve advisor how much for a Toyota OEM tri-fold install is ne wrote down $539 so let the rip off the customer begin at that point. The other advisor I had originally talk to over the phone with pricingcame back in and I pointed out the variation in prices and again he became irritated and I knew there was a try to rip off the customer in play and I was irritated. They were not being up front with me and the customer service was bad with the advisor. Terrible customer service by this advisor. Terrible experience with the finance dept with both purchases trying to change several numbers and to try and make more $$. No wonder the reviews are so bad with certain departments of this dealership. More
I purchased a new 2019 Sienna with a platinum extended warranty. I brought it back for the covered oil change, and was told that the current owner did not honor that warranty. Not true!! Next the air con warranty. I brought it back for the covered oil change, and was told that the current owner did not honor that warranty. Not true!! Next the air conditioning stopped working. I took it there and they advised that it was a bad hose, and it was covered by the warranty, but to replace the hose required removing the front bumper, and the radar would have to be reprogrammed. Not covered by the warranty, and would be an additional $480!!!!! After multiple calls to the warranty company, Toyota corporate, and the dealership, they finally covered the full bill. The hose was back ordered and it took 3 weeks to get it. They were nice enough to give me a loaner car, but when they completed the repair, they called and said that the battery needed replacing!! Only $207!! I advised that I would replace the battery myself. When I arrived to pick up the van it was filthy from being parked under a cypress tree for 3 weeks. They jump started the van, and said to replace the battery ASAP. I drove the van 20 miles to work, opened the hood to find that the terminals were badly corroded. I cleaned them and have not had a problem since. Totally unacceptable service. More
Purchased a 4Runner at sports city Toyota,when I purchased t i was offered lifetime oil changes for a one time cost of $499 here we are a few years later with only 50k on the truck and 4 or 5 oil ch purchased t i was offered lifetime oil changes for a one time cost of $499 here we are a few years later with only 50k on the truck and 4 or 5 oil changes done and Sports city Toyota will no longer honor there lifetime oil change agreement.There excuse it that the owner changed ,absolute crooks gave me the runaround all afternoon on the phone ,what a ripoff stay away from this dealership LIFE TIME MEANS LIFE TIME THAT I OWNE THE CAR not just when you decide you didn’t go out of business but i hope you do now! More
Came in today on my 2018 4Runner which came with lifetime oil changes. I was told today, new company took over and lifetime oil changes no longer honored even though same name. Seeing all these bad reviews of the SCT service department blows my mind. Long story short but Abraham Balderas, the service manager, was able to find my Lithia Lifetime Oil Change contract and hon department blows my mind. Long story short but Abraham Balderas, the service manager, was able to find my Lithia Lifetime Oil Change contract and honored it as they are now part of the Lithia Motor Group. Not only did he change my oil for free that day but within a week he got me reimbursed for every receipt I could show him where I paid out of pocket for previous oil changes at non-Lithia shops. He could have let me deal with corporate but he didn't. If that's not above and beyond I don't know what is. More

I went in for my 30,000 mile check and was charged for an oil change although I have Oil Changes for life. Was told the Company was sold and the new owner did not honor past deals. I left and as I got on oil change although I have Oil Changes for life. Was told the Company was sold and the new owner did not honor past deals. I left and as I got on 635 I noticed my low tire light was on. It was too difficult to get off and go back to the dealership. The next day I'm driving north on No. Central Expressway and my rear tire was flat. I could not stop so had to drive to the nearest exit because it was rush hour traffic. I called John Eagle and they don't have auto rescue service anymore. I am beside myself and finally got someone to come change my tire after waiting two and a half hours. We have purchased all of our Toyotas from here, but NO LONGER WILL I EVER STEPFOOT IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT! More
Beware before you buy a vehicle here. When I purchased a brand new car from them 3 years ago, I was offered and signed a document that included 10 oil changes. My surprise today at my 4th oil change was tha brand new car from them 3 years ago, I was offered and signed a document that included 10 oil changes. My surprise today at my 4th oil change was that this dealer "was sold" to another company but still operates under the same name of Sport City, the emails that I receive, the receipts, all current paper work still say John Eagle!, and they won't honor previous oil changes agreements. I spoke to Juan Laca, the salesman that signed my "program", and he was limited to tell me that he only sells cars, when he was the one that sold me that “program” if I was able to pay a little more for my vehicle. Knowing that Sport City is well known for cheating a lot during their process of selling a car I bought last year from Toyota of Dallas and so far, they have been sincere and honest. Claim warranties and recalls from Sport City has been very difficult with this truck, and I need to mention also that the negotiation process was shady since the beginning, and this is the result! They won't honor what is on paper. Such a bad practice of not honoring written agreements could be a great story for any news channel. More
